Dear Mammad

by Artificial Intelligence on

I could care less about the monarchy- But you know who is delusional?

Delusional are people who want to change the IRI from within

Delusional are people who advocated diplomacy with IRI

Delusional are people who though Khatami was a "reformer"

Delusional are people who support Mousavi & Karroubi as leaders of the green movement

Mammad, who is delusional?

It is amazing

by Mammad on

how DK hides behind Shapour Bakhtiar, to give legitinmacy to RP, without knowing the history of Bakhtiar, particularly in his days as the PM [note: an article about it is forthcoming].

Well, what else should one expect from a delutional man who fantasizes about "restoration" of Pahlavi dynasty?

By the way, check what RP told the Congress recently behind closed door, and ask him what nation in the middle east has promised help. [That will be in another forthcoming article about Iranian Ahmed Chalabis.]

Yes an Endorsement of the 'Legitimacy' of the IRI Constitution

by Darius Kadivar on

Yes he considers that the current IRI Constitution however imperfect is Legitimate but should (and Can) be Reformed.

He reiterated this assessment in the Program Parazit where he said that he considers himself an  Eslah Talab ( albeit under both regimes be it during the Shah's time and now under the IRI ).

That is his right but then that does not make him what I would call a genuine Opponent to the IRI.

In my book suggesting that the IRI should be reformed rather than toppled whilst acknowledging the imperfections of it's Constitution (which he does since he clearly say's that the Constitution was never democratic) is still an endorsement of the legitimacy of that constitution.

Something Genuine Opponents to the IRI notably Shapour Bakhtiar refused to do from Day One:

pictory: Bakhtiar Denounces Bazargan's Provisionary Government in exile (1979)

Hence asking not to reform the current Constitution but Replacing it with the one which existed prior to the Revolution ( however with an option left open on the nature of the Parliamentary System of Government which could either be a Monarchy or a Republic) :

VIDEO: Shapour Bakhtiar’s Last Public Appearance two years Prior to his Assassination Calls on REGIME CHANGE based on the RESTORATION of the 1906 Constitution

But then Behnoud's Stance is nothing new. When he was still working in Iran he was the first to compare Rafsanjani to an Iranian Gorbatchev when the latter became President. He even covered Rafsanjani's State Visit to Moscow during the Perestroika years. Something which ironically Bakhtiar in the above Video actually denounces and warns the Diapora against falling for another "smiling face" offered by the then IRI leadership.

What followed was his assassination in Paris by Rafansjani's Death Squads sent to kill him followed a few years later by the coming to age of another "democratically" elected "Iranian Gorbatchev" in the person of Muhamad Khatami ...

Well we saw where that led to ...

Mr. Behnood is not a true IRAN Lover / True Iranian

by Maryam Hojjat on

In my opinion any reformist is an enemy of IRAN & IRANIANS after 32 years of this barbaric regime.  Islamic constitution of IRR/IRI is written for interests of a bunch of akhoonds & against Iranians' interests.
