Constitutionalist Student Shares Views on the Pros and Cons of Reza Shah's Rule
by Darius Kadivar

Interesting yet debatable arguments by a young constitutionalist Iranian history student Shahram Aryan from Hamburg Germany who shares his outlook on Iran’s contemporary history and on the pros and cons of Reza Shah the Great’s rule.

Conference Organized by Student Club of the Anjomaneh Farhang va Ejtemayeh Hambastegy Iranian Aleman aka The Social and cultural Association of Iranians in Germany:

The rehabilitation of Reza Shah’s legacy but also of Iran's Constitutionalist history seems to have also penetrated the current Intellectual circles inside the Islamic Republic.

Reza Shah's achievements According to Sadegh Zibakalam March 2010:

Sadegh Ziba Kallam’s surprisingly positive outlook on Reza Shah’s rule triggers debate on IRI TV

IRI TV hosts debate on différences between French Revolution of 1789 and the British Glorious Revolution of 1688:

Another interesting Take on the same topic from the view point of an Intellectual Bijan Abdolkarimi in Iran today and his take on the differences between the British GloriousRevolution (of 1688 and the British Restoration) which led to a Parliamentary System as opposed to the French Secular Revolution of 1789.

NOTE: However Abdokkarimi seems to have confused King Charles II who was
indeed Restored on the Throne ( after Cromwell's Theocracy was brought down) with Queen Elizabeth Ist (daughter of King Henry VIII). Or was he thinking of the Possibility of the Succession to Crown Prince Reza upon his future Restoration as King to be followed by his Daughter Princess Noor as Future Queen ? a Freudian Slip or a Wishful Suggestion Perhaps ? ;0)
