Christmas Eve shopping in Valparaiso

I love the crowded, noisy, fruit and vegetable market in Valparaiso, Chile. My daughter Mahdiyeh and our friend Negar and I were passing by there today and I took this short video... just to give you a taste of daily life here. People were shopping for their Christmas Eve dinner:

Camera Color

Red Wine: The indigenous people of Chile were mostly killed by settlers or died of diseases imported from Europe. The few who survive have been Europeanized to a large extent.

Yolanda: My camera does not shoot videos in color for some reason. I have only increased the red accent on the black and white setting. I don't know what has happened and can't figure out how to reset to color again. You have to use your imagination to guess the non-red colors :)

Interesting video, but green color and yellow color got bleached out! Bananas look "grey", OMG!

There was a day that from where you are now, to the central Patagonia have lived many Indians and these guys have ruled these lands to the land of Tierra del Fuego. they have been civilized and have a culture very many interesting and deep.
