VIDEO:
"Israel is paying and training internet bloggers to delete, rewrite, and revise internet content to shape public opinion to Israel's benefit. Video of the Israeli-sponsored training programs have been leaked to the web (like the video here).
Additionally, investigative reporters that infiltrated these groups have reported that Israelis are being trained to spread disinformation and to try to create conflicts among different religious, racial, and ethnic groups if it would benefit Israel. Some of the seminars also encouraged the workers to spread disinformation on the internet and to attempt to recruit people for pro-Israeli causes."
Comment: The video of is of an actual Israeli training session of its information war volunteers, and you will see that the woman in the video says that their job is to revise online content, for example Wikipedia, to make it more "Zionist in nature."

AO jaan,
by AMIR1973 on Fri Mar 23, 2012 09:16 AM PDTFree advice for the aspiring doc? Sure, why not. The keys are no big secret: good grades (mostly A's, of course); good MCAT scores (30 and above); and involve yourself in some medical/biology research (get your name on some papers, preferably as first author)....Oh yeah, and don't leave anti-semitic comments/obsessions under your own name. Being a hater can hurt your US med school prospects :-)
Amir jaan - being that you're a REAL physician and all
by Anonymous Observer on Fri Mar 23, 2012 09:01 AM PDTcan you please give some pointers to the doctor wannabe boy here on how to get into med. school? You know, real steps that don't include impersonating a doctor. :-)
Can we switch the name of Iranian.com to Israel-Palestine.com?
by AMIR1973 on Fri Mar 23, 2012 08:57 AM PDTSince some West-residing IRI Groupies always like to try to divert attention on Iranian.com away from Iran and Iranians to their neverending obsession with Israel, The Jooooooooz, and Palestine, we might as well reflect it in the name of the website. Just sayin'.
There's more
by iraj khan on Fri Mar 23, 2012 06:27 AM PDTabout their activities that I found by doing a little research.
Here is one:
"Pro Israel Trolls pop up when someone is critical of Israel and it’s policies or interests. They target, write, engage, educate and insult. From my research it seems that there is some kind of hierarchy of trolls, they have leaders who tell them targets and guide them with their spin. Most work voluntarily but some are paid for by wealthy sponsors. They track topical keywords and persons using public websites (such as IC). Problems emerge if one rejects the explanations being offered by the trolls, then their troll nature becomes apparent very quickly as the resort to smears and abuse"
Are these techniques being used here on this Iranian website?
The answer is yes, it's being used on a daily basis, just mention the name of Israel and you will see them poping up.
They are the same crowd who scream for more sanctions, assassination of Iranian scientists and a war with Iran.
I'm just saying,

Were these techniques used here on IC too? If so then, what effects it has been having on this website? These are the questions to be asked.

Ok! After throwing cheap shots at eachother...
by The Prince on Thu Mar 22, 2012 03:51 PM PDTLet's get to the main point of this blog!!
“Israel is paying and training internet bloggers to delete, rewrite, and revise internet content to shape public opinion to Israel's benefit.”
Uuummmm so?! And this is news to you all of the sudden?!! Who doesn’t do it? You never heard of the other dirty dogs called Artesh Cyberi? Tell us something we don’t know. This is no news! News would be something like this: “Israel stopped paying and training internet bloggers to delete, rewrite, and revise internet content … They are no longer paranoid, since mankind overcame greed and eradicated diseases such as Aids, Cancer and Akhoonds” Now, that‘ll be News! Farfetched, but still news.
“Additionally, investigative reporters that infiltrated these groups have reported that Israelis are being trained to spread disinformation…."
Wait! Isn’t this the whole point of “training internet bloggers”? To spread disinformation?!! So, where is the News?! And, by the way, what a genius and unique idea that is. Putting misleading information on the internet. I don't know why no one else had thought about this before, like advertisers or promoters? Since everything you read on the internet nowadays is of course the absolute truth, and no one can refute it or write comments about it!!! It is absolutely the right way to go! These Israelis are so slick. Had it not been for our smart "investigative reporters", they would have gotten away with this for sure!! Who are these brave and genius “investigative reporters” who made these amazing discoveries? I bet they work for Keyhan!!
Comment: The video of is of an actual Israeli training session of its information war volunteers, and you will see that the woman in the video says that their job is to revise online content, for example Wikipedia, to make it more "Zionist in nature."
No! Shocking!! Coincidently, isn’t that the main function of Wikipedia, for people to go and revise its on-line contents?!! You really had to put this one in bold? Really?!
It is amazing the distance some go in order to divert people's attention from the main point!

by Mohammad Ala on Thu Mar 22, 2012 02:58 PM PDTTruthseeker9 jan; thanks for taking time to read and post your comments. I agree with you. It is not the first time IC members have attacked me and it won’t the last time. The IC Admin seems to be okay with it. The irony is that Wikipedia attackers were Iranians who disagreed with my comments on IC. I am not worried about myself, my worry and concerns are Iran.
dear Dr Ala
by Truthseeker9 on Thu Mar 22, 2012 03:07 PM PDTI am very sad that you had a bad experience with regards to harassment from some nutter at IC. But harassment can happen both ways - people who are anonymous can attack people using own names, and people using own names can attack anonymous users because they feel entitled to get away with it. At the end of the day what people see are the characters of the people writing the comments which nothing can hide, whether they use their name or not.
I think in this case they are questioning the man's integrity because they think he is dishonest about his qualifications.
But I want to say I really sympathise with you and feel sorry you were harassed. This is why I would never put any of my details on the internet, not just for my own sake but for my family's sake. Not even Facebook!

With the attitude of some IC members, I wonder if or when Iran will change for better… the same mentality who spells Nowruz in 100 different ways, drives like a manic, etc.., expects heaven on earth… LOL (okay, haha).
Dear professor Ala, as a college professor
by Anonymous Observer on Thu Mar 22, 2012 02:04 PM PDTyou should have been the most outraged by this person's fabrication of his educational credentials. Yet, you seem not to be bothered at all, which actually speaks volumes about your sense of integrity.
How do you think a medical school admissions board will look at someone's moral character who goes around and impersonates a physician? Do you believe they will deem him morally and ethically qualified to become a doctor? As an academecian, how would you feel if you're on that board?

by Mohammad Ala on Thu Mar 22, 2012 01:54 PM PDTAO jan; I meant comments but I wrote e-mails, sorry.
As I said I read the content and assume what people say or post to be genuine. If you found something not right, I think the person should reply and clarify it. It is not my nature to use comments as a dialogue and I try to limit my posts, therefore cannot express my views clearly in one comment.
Dear professor Ala - I have never sent you an email
by Anonymous Observer on Thu Mar 22, 2012 01:54 PM PDTI have never sent you an email.
As for your assumption, everyone makes that assumption. But when it is revealed by objective evidence that the information is fabricated, one should not cry foul and accuse the discoverer of the truth of being "mariz" or on a witch hunt. If you do so, you're being unreasonably stubborn and disingenuous.
PS- it's much better to use a screen name than post a so-called "real name" and lie. At least I'm not posting under my real name and calling myself king of Spain, at which time. according to your logic, you will have to accept that I am the king of Spain reagrdless of evidence to the contrary.

by Mohammad Ala on Thu Mar 22, 2012 01:46 PM PDTAO jan; your e-mails are accusatory and insulting which you seem to be good at both. Check with JJ when you are in doubt.
The reason you or other bogus members can question others is because they post their real information. If you were not using a bogus name, I would give you credit; but no cigar for you!!
I assumed when people post their information to be correct. I never have been on a witch hunt to attack others viciously. I read what is posted and make a judgement about the content.
