Dear Friends,

We need to start a series of campaign and marketing strategies to, first keep this protests and demonstrations alive as well as create awareness.

1. We need start writing letters or do a phone call to foreign embassies who deal with Iran and leting them know not to recognize Ahmadinejad's government and condemn the recent action by the regime agains peacfull demonstrators.

2. Please call the Russian embassy and condemn their recognition of Ahmadinejad's governmnet and shaking hand by their president Dmitry Medvedev

3. Call the Chinese Embassy and let them know your frustration that their President Hu Jintao remarks showing support for Ahmadinejad and his illigitamte governmnet

4. I believe we need to let Iranians who live abroad know by traveling back and forth to Iran they are supporting the government. By carrying that passport is a sign of recognition of IRI.I am suggesting a campaign of burning the Islamic Fascist Republic of Iran passports in front of the Iranian embassies around the world.

How can you help?

Please call or send letter it doesn't realy take that long maybe 10 minutes.

Please post it on your page or your blogs if you wish

Please invite others to do the same thing

Thank you so much

You guys have a great point and thank you for that

But I actually feel bad calling them cockroaches because at least cockroaches have a purpose in life the are part of the ecosyste

IRI supporters and this regime is not.

Believe if anyne get offended by this then they shouldn't even support the cause. You have a system that is ill and corrupt. That mean it is infested with cockroaches. What do you do? you call Terminex

Corruption, mismanagement and embezzlement are so widespread amongst the officials that you can't even name anyone that is not part of that.

Discrimination and racism of religius minorities, etnicities is so wide spread that it is realy hard to fix that under this regime because of daily brainwashing.

Womesn's rights, intellectual rights and human rights let us nbot go there

Now can I still call them cockroaches or not?

Okay, fine,

by rosie is roxy is roshan on

actually many of them are what you say.

But from a pragmatic point of view, it isn't helpful for public discourse. So many different kinds of people read this website; many non-Iranians as well.

How about Fascist s.ob.'s and ruthless subhuman murderers?

It conveys the same message as cockroaches and Nazis but it reads better. Trust me. It does.

lol

I truly belive the curent IRI regime cosnsit of cockroaches and Nazis

It might not been appealing but I ma not here to win a popularity contest.

The killing of hundered of thousand people like Neda by this brutal regime that kills anything that moves to me is even worst than the Nazis.

But thank you for your thoughs and opinion.

Well..

here is a link to Kodoom asking to send letters to certain IRI clerics.

//picks.kodoom.com/454362

The English version is at niacblog.wordpress.com.

How much it may immediately DO is a question, but if the people in Iran are doing it, it is certainly helpful as a symbolic gesture of unity between the expat and domestic communities, and since some of these clerics do agree that the whole thing is attrocious, it could spur them on in some ways.

Here is a link to a newsfeed discussing an impending boycott and perhaps other forms of passive resistance, I don't know, I can't read it. I am waiting for someone to answer my question I put on the thread today.

Here is a posting from the top of the homepage on a demonstration and general strike this month. The questions on the thread should be investigated, but overall I would say to strongly encourage all friends and relatives within Iran to participate.

//iranian.com/main/2009/jul/18-tir

I am worried about the demonstration, though. It should be ascertained whether there will be some mechanism to ensure there are no more killings. No more killings. Enough already. It isn't worth it. It won't accomplish anything. Absolutely peaceful means must be found.

Strikes and boycotts are essential. Iranians at home must be encouraged.

But honestly, Hateiri, the first thing I think you could DO is to stop referring to these people as cockroaches and Nazis in the media in this way. Not helpful. Never helpful. There are always people in the middle, whether here or in Qom or wherever. You will never sway anyone in a million years to your point of view with that kind of language. Ever. They will just consider you an extremist fanatic. You will turn them off. Post haste.

And again, should such language "catch on" among a vocal minority of dissenters, it will only make the hardliners crack down more.

I don't say this only about this situation, I say it about all political situations. All. Zionazi, Ziopig, do more to polarize moderate Jews against the "geopolitical left" than anything you could possibly imagine.

It is a fine line in the sand but there is a limit to the type of language that should be used, if only for the sake of pragmatism.

And that is my firm opinion.

Rosie
