Reza Pahlavi comparison to IRI

His father ruled upon us for 50 years with ignorance and corruption. His father's lack of respect for Iranian people and the belittling of the general public specially urban and rural Iran and his ever growing relienace of western countries created a monster called Khomeini.

Let us together study history and understand why we are here today. let us go back 30 years and review all the events that led us to here.

In 1970 while South Korea and Japan stated to merge as Asia's powerhouses we were the forefront in the industrial revolution; however, most of the internal economy were western companies who would had hesitated to pass on the technology to Iranian people.

At that time Iran's population was at 30 million. Only 45% were literate and according to some estimate that put the figure of poverty below the average.

Let us not forget his fathers' extravaganza birthday parties that he spent millions of dollars and invited dignitaries from around the world even all the chefs were imported from outside but NO IRANIAN was good enough to attend.

It was his father who killed 100 thousand of students and political activist.

Our beloved hero Takhti, the man, the lion the brave heart was killed under his dad's supervision. How dare this coward talk about my country when his father was resposnosble for the destruction of such a rare treasure?

Let us not forget Dr. Mossadegh a nationalist and a true Iranian who really cared about Iran and Iran's interest. His dad with the help of CIA crushed his movement and killed this true father of our beloved country.

They were writers, journalists, scholars and many intellectual people who had died in the hand of his father.

While people were dying and struggling to survive he and his siblings and parents lived in extravagant and had a expensive lifestyle, the construction of palaces with people’s money around the world. The Pahlavi family was busy with purchase of the latest race and luxury cars, while the average Iranian couldn't even afford to eat or rent a house.

Please let me ask you something. Does that remind you of another regime? If you said IRI then you are correct.

IRI terrorist regime has many similarly to Reza Pahlavi's dynasty.

We must be aware and not be fooled and not let these coward opportunist to take advantage of this movement.

Please write to Reza Pahlavi and tell him to keep silent. Since his remarks will undermine the movement and provide a reason for the government to suppress and squash the protestors and the movement.

I urge you to take immediate action and let him know that this is not the righ time to call yourself the leader.

Let the people decide who they want to have as a leader and I can assure you are not the one.

I have always been curious how his family has been living for the past 30 years. Where is the money coming from?

Write to hme and ask him to be silent

I wish we could use our brain more than our ears. I am not SHAHI or ... I am an IRANI who cares for this country and it's people. I love to ask people who followed Khomani 3o years ago " What did you know about him and people around him?" " What did Shah do to you and your family?". I don't want to hear she said, He said ...I have been asking these question for over 30 years and nobody had a right answer. Because of my age, I know more than you guys and know when he was in power, We had Khijeh Fars not Khalijeh Arabi, Sadam kissed his hand instead of attcking Iran and killing our young people. Who was in his prisons " Rafsanjani, Khamenei, ..., Mojahedineh Be stelah Khagh, Todeeeha ..." Did you what one of these people and groups control over Iran. Be careful and think before making any decision.

HATEIRI

Please stop repeating the leftist foreign propagated propaganda that led the left and Jebhe Gheir e Melli to cause such a fissure in nationalist/modernist ranks to allow the Akhoonds in.  Pahlavis served the country in spite of their faults and MR was eventually kicked out for his mistakes.  Let's move on. RP is also completely and total IRRELEVANT.

As for Darius K pushing the monarchist aganda it really is the wrong time. And what Shahallahies forget is that the days of Guardianship, whether by Vali Faghih or RP or any other individual leader are WELL OVER.

It really is disgusting that Lengesh Kon brigades are concentrating on their own political agenda instead of working to stop the killings and persecutions.

Akhoonds are now firmly in the Zimbabwe/Chinese/N.Korean school of cruelty, take a breath, step back and think of the people.

HateIRI answer this

by Anonymouss (not verified) on

Iran's literacy rate was 0.1 percent when Reza Shah took power. Even most of those were maktabis who only read Koran.

In 1978, Iran's literacy rate was 55% (not 45% that you claim.) This increase was done in 50 years, that is in the span of only two generations.

Now you bisavad tell me who could YOU have done better? If you can't answer this (you won't be able to), then it is proof of your ignorance. You are full of it. Otherwise put your words where you mouth is or shut the hell up.

You wrote, "In 1970 while South Korea and Japan stated to merge as Asia's powerhouses we were the forefront in the industrial revolution..."

Mardake bisavad! South Korea was always behind from Iran. When Iran founded its first steel factory, South Korea was behind by five years. Google it for yourself. Both countries had "sanaaye montage", only Iran's montaged cars were better quality than Korea.

After founding its first steel factories, Korea began to export its Hyundais 15 years later, but Iran's turn was cut short because of idiots like you making a revolution.

South Korea was also behind Iran in literacy rate eventhough their initial literacy rate was higher than Iran. Now look where they are. It could have been us, but idiots like you cut it short with your revolution of ignorance fueld by jealousy and hate.

Iran enjoyed one of its most prosperous eras in the 70s in 500 years (dating back to Shah Abbas) thanks to Pahlavi's efforts.

As you were asked by others where is your evidence that he killed 100,000?

You are an ignorant that does not know he is ignorant, so you shall remain an ignorant. Now go fuel your hatred, its running low.

I am with you dear patriot. I think these selfish individuals who claim "patriotism" and "democratic" values, and who have no respect for the blood of the fallen, should be left alone.

They only care for satisfying their hatereds and angers. This is the only service they have ever provided to Iran. They don't know it yet, but they are irrelevant to Iran's future, as they have been irrelevant in the past 30 years.

They are the fossils that the young generation in Iran has tossed away in the trash long ago. They just don't know it yet.

God willing, others caring and generous brave men and women will pick up the slack elsewhere. Leave these guys alone.

Re: HateIRI

You hate the IRI indeed, but you certainly behave like a hezbollahi.

"How has he lived for the past 30 years? who is paying his expenses? We know his drug addicts sister was wasting Iranian public money at $4000/night (Alcohol, sex and drugs). His mom has spent $100K on that ugly face of hers..."

In a free society the burden of the proof is on the accuser. Where is your proof and your evidence for the above accusations? Also in a free society, if the accuser can't prove his claims, he can be sued for defamation.

You, HateIRI, having been raised and seen only dictatorships, behave like a dictator, or worst like a hezbollahi thug who do the same.

Where is your proof that the Shah's government killed 100,000 people? Even Emad Baghi, an revolutionary and ex-pasdar and an IRI archiver, has stated that during Shah's reign, around 3000 people were killed, most of them during the revolution.

I long for the day that exactly zero people are killed, 3000 is 3000 too many. But where is your evidence that 100,000 were killed?

You have not grown nor evolved beyond your pitiful hatreds in the past 30 years of misery. It is as though you are sleep and an atomic bomb exploded near you, and you are still snoring.

The solution for you is to go back to Iran and join the street demonstrators, some of them mere teenagers. You'll find that they have managed to grow beyond these pathetic bickerings and instead are focused on other important things. Perhaps you could learn something from them.

qualities of a leader?

by Disappointed (not verified) on

If you want to be a leader and change the direction of a country, I would have to say that at the very least you need to be able to motivate people. How can Reza P accomplish this? Three ways in mind: 1) stop thinking about his lost kingdom 2) Start doing some charity work inside Iran: build a hospital, give scholarships, start a foundation.... 3) Work on his communication skills.

While Reza P's dad had effective communication skills, his son did not inherit those qualities. I heard Reza P in CSPAN yesterday and was very disappointed. He has been in the US for the last 25 years and still does not have effective verbal communication skills. He sounded like a used car dealer (my apologies to all my used car dealer brothers) who just started speaking English last month. He had memorized his sales pitch and kept repeating it. He even tried using some big words- but they just did not make any sense.

This is not how one should sound like, if they want to change the direction of history.

Until he improves in these three areas, don't buy from this dealer. He is a bad salesman and his product is defective.

I have ALL the answers!

by Anonymous Answerer (not verified) on

How has he lived for the past 30 years?

Be to cheh?

who is paying his expenses?

Daste Ghayb, aka Daste Hazrat Abbas.

We know his drug addicts sister was wasting Iranian public money at $4000/night (Alcohol, sex and drugs).

You "know" that but you do not "know" where he gets that from?

Oh well, I tell you: according to ayatollah (and we "know" that ayatollahs never lie), his aunt was/is trafficking dope, so he is getting the dope for free and is not paying a dime for it.

His mom has spent $100K on that ugly face of hers
so where does the money come from????

According to islamists (and we "know" islamists NEVER lie) when shah personally set fire to Cinema Rex, he found a "khomreh" underneath one of the burnt seats in the "loj" section. There was $100,000 hidden in "khomreh" and the poor serpent protecting the "khomreh" was burnt to ashes. Shah took the $100,000 dollar out of the "khomreh" and invested with Madoff. The rate of return has since been 100% per year. And that is how his mom has been maintaining that ugly face that you are jealous of today. I hope you can figure out how much his net worth is today from that $100,000 invested at the rate of 100% per year for 30 years, can't you?

Next you will tell us that he is a zionist and his face is on the dark (back) side of the moon (not the front side of the moon that portrays Ayatollah Khomeini since the night of the devolution) or ranting another IRI-style accusation without proof.

Boro fekre naan kon keh kharbozeh aab ast.

Dear HATEIRI,

I marginally agree with your statement having lived in both ears. True that both Pahlavi dynasty and IR are dictatorship, absolutely no doubt about it.

My problem with Reza Pahlavi is that he does not posses any leadership qualities, and basically he has been  in the sidelines in past 30 years. Asides from that I do trust that monarchy is an outdated form of government.

BUT, gentleman, lets not get into name calling of each other. Now more that ever all the opposition must gather under one banner, and that is FREEDOM FOR IRAN.

Re: Samad Behrangi, Khosro Golesorkhi and Dr. Ali Shariati

by Anonymous Irani (not verified) on

You are still living in 1970s and have not been able to free yourself of emotional imprisonment of hatred for the shah whom MANY within iran long for his period of peace and prosperity.

I do not mind at all to flag short-comings of the shah, but placing him in the same boat as ANY leader in IRI, INCLUDING Mousavi whom so many want as president today, not only is a serious exaggeration of shah's deficiencies BUT more importantly is a serious diminishing of crimes of IRI. The latter is a total disregard for 30 years of oppression of iranians who has had no saying even in insignificant matters such how they dressed.

Mind you that the struggle that you see today, after 30 years, for Mousavi vs. AN (s)election, is not about a full-fledged democracy -- as they know Mousavi cannot deliver that, but about bringing back a tiny portion of freedoms that iranians enjoyed during the shah's period and took it for granted, such as more relaxed dress code, some equality for women in family and social matters, some improvement in economy, etc.

You are simply uninformed. As someone else mentioned on this thread, you do not even know that neither Baghi nor Montazeri were Savakis; both were revolutionaries and disciples of Khomeini, but they do have some integrity to not flatly lie to people once they knew the truth.

There were lots and lots of rumors and accusations placed on the shah. I can help you with few more: that shah stole $56 billion, that shah had killed 600,000 (not 100,000 that you mentioned), that shah had 300,000 political prisoners, that shah had set fire to Cinema Rex, that shah had the most beautiful 22 year old second wife from Gilan, that shah's sister was trading opium and heroin, that shah's mother was a homo, ...; and all the fools believed it and took us where we are.

You claimed 100,000 were killed by the, yet you mentioned only 3, and 2 of those 2 have since been seriously disputed. Only Golsorkhi's execution by shah's regime is confirmed.

As a side note, Dr. Ali Shariati that you sympathize with is the philosophical father of the disaster that we are in today: the islamic republic. I suggest that you view his lectures on YouTube to see how he belittles iranian culture and iranian identity and seeks all the answers in an islamic rule. We have likes of him today, for example Dr. Abbasi. Would you care for him too?

As for RP, he is just a citizen, with no less and no more rights than I and you. And he (as well as his father) has gigantically cleaner record than Mousavi that everybody is screaming for. I bet, you criticize IRI for denying people the basic right of speaking, yet you align yourself with IRI when it comes to RP, the only opposition that I know who has a clean record: he personally has not hamrmed ANY iranian.

If RP keeps quiet, then everyone complains that he is "moftkhor" and indifferent; and if he speaks everybody asks him to shut up. So what is he supposed to do?

Besides, those that want RP to shut up should ask themselves what they have done for their country besides relaxing in the west and posting comments every now and then.

I wonder if IRI would allow RP to be on election ballot, and if that impossible happens, then how many would vote for him. That is the right way of dealing with RP rather than to ask him to shut up; the exact same thing that IRI is telling millions of iranians within.

Lies and deceits brought us where we are; honesty is the best policy, even towards people that we may not like.

You are entitled to your opinion but not to your version of facts, and most, if not all, of what you claim are factually incorrect, no matter how you spin them or emotionalize them.

Emadeddin Baghi

by Alex Arjomand (not verified) on

This Hatieri guy is so ignorant that I am not sure that it is worthwhile responding and clarifying facts and figures for him. However, I somehow feel powerless to help the people in Iran so maybe the least I can do is stop imbeciles like him from getting away with spewing unproductive nonsense. An earlier comment challenged Hatieri and suggested that there were 383 people killed during the Shah's reign. Hatieri in his typical ignorance suggested that the author of that response may have had links with the Savak (i.e. how else could he be that precise?). Not that much of anything seems to sink in with Hatieri, but the person who made the reference to 383 people, had based it on detailed research and analysis done by Emadeddin Baghi, an Iranian rights activist and journalist based in Iran who published that figure after researching in detail, files and information from the reign of the Shah. In other words the person who pointed this out is not in all likelihood a member of the SAVAK but just happens to be well-educated in the history of his country...
