I have a question ...
by Shir-Ali Moslemov (not verified) on Sat Aug 16, 2008 04:05 AM PDTIf Russians are so keen in holding on to both the 'Abkhazia' and the 'South Ossetia' regions of Georgia because of the high densities of ethnic Russians in both regions, then shouldn't they similarly let 'Chechnya' become some form of an autonomous and independent state since there are almost no Russians there.
As the saying goes: 'Isn't what is good for the goose also good for the gander' - Am I missing something here? Or, is it a case of 'Might is Right' ......
Really :) -
