BUSH Forged 'Letter' To Justify Invading IRAQ
by Haj Seyd Mammad

In a cable exclusive, Pulitzer Prize winning  author Ron Suskind, talks with Keith Olbermann of Countdown, regarding the claim that the Bush Adminstration and White House ordered that a letter be forged to draw a connection between Iraq and 9/11 even though there wasn't one.

Ron Suskind demonstrates all of these in his new book "The Way of The World" by on-the-record taped interviews with CIA Officials.

Bush is beyond help.

by Andrew Wang (not verified) on

Bush is the worst president in American history. Bush facilitated the 9/11 attacks. Subsequently, Bush lied to Congress and the American people relative to the reasons for invading Iraq. Bush purposefully misled Congress and the American people. Then, Bush murdered more than 4,000 United States service members. And Bush wounded more than 30,000 United States service members. In torturing prisoners of war, Bush patently violated the Geneva Convention. Bush unlawfully wiretapped United States citizens. In using “signing statements” to challenge hundreds of laws passed by Congress, Bush violated the Constitution. Bush has ignored global warming. Bush is guilty of criminal negligence relative to the response to Hurricane Katrina. Bush disobeys our democratic values and Constitution. Bush is a disgrace to the United States.

Furthermore, Ron Suskind has revealed that Bush directed the forgery of a letter connecting Iraq to the 9/11 attacks. Bush is beyond help.

I wonder

I have a problem to respond since this would take forever. There are so many areas and so many situations, and so many issues that it's hard to pin point and select to start the debate.

Actually unlike what you claim the politicians are working for short term gains, mostly to be reelected and also be able to show the results.

Maybe you see something that I don't. Maybe you are the 23% and dropping of neo conservative supporters of this president and therefore think that everything that is and has gone wrong would have gone wrong regardless!! But if things go right, the credit is due to this administration!!

Any system has an agenda beyond the presidency, that is true. There are challenges, mostly foreign policies, that the national security would deal with. Yet within this very frame work, there are minute influences and changes that could be implemented by the president.

You are indicating that "Bush" has put "smart" and "intelligent" group of people in charge so we will eat the fruits of them later on?? I don't buy it.

You may close your eyes to all the illegal, unplanned, chaotic, inhumane, unfunded, and many that could fill hundreds of pages of actions by this Bush and his regime, I don't. I mean which president would do this:
"Federal auditors said on Friday that the Bush administration violated the law by buying favorable news coverage of President Bush's education policies, by making payments to the conservative commentator Armstrong Williams and by hiring a public relations company to analyze media perceptions of the Republican Party."

Or
"The Bush administration/government initiated illegal surveillance of innocent Americans long before 9/11 attacks of the World Trade Center. The Bush administration and members of the mainstream media have made strong claims that spying on American citizens is necessary to protect from another terrorist attack. However, the initiation of the illegal warrantless spying of American citizens began at least 6 months prior to the 9/11 attacks, and months before the email warning received by U.S. government officials that Osama Bin Laden was to attack the United States."

Not even one president would be as corrupt as this one, historically I believe. You can find corruption and illegal actions by this administration in every walk of the political path.

This is not Iran or a third world country. This is the United States of America. It's shameful to have such bully, Mafia style, pro loyal rather than specialized president in this time and age. Enough is enough.

Go Obama. Time to fix this

How can you be so sure?

by I wonder (not verified) on

To Abarmard

How do you know what he's done has not been for the beneift of America or national interests? are you a politician? a foreign policy maker? are you clairvoyant? can you see into the future?

Seasoned politicians, statesmen, policy makers do not plan for now or immediate future, they always have long term benefits/goals of their countries in mind. Yes Islamic revolution seems to have been a disaster for America but on the other hand, it prevented a much bigger disaster from happening for America and the West. It cut off the hands of Soviets and put a complete stop to Soviet expansionism/take-over/control of the oil-rich ME which had already started in Afghanistan in 1974.

Back then, nobody could predict with certainty that Communism would collapse in 10 years, and nobody could predict that Islamists would have their own agenda once fully established in power.

What has one thing got to do with another. Like a commentator said earlier, he has on-the-record taped interviews of these CIA officials.

Let's hope that Congress does its job, and get these CIA officials' testimony under Oath. Then we will hopefully know whether this is just hype, or the 'TRUTH'.

Period.

Hopefully, someone in Washington would follow up on these, and bring some level of Justice to all of this mess. I just can't believe that in this day and age they have the Audacity to do such stuff!

Shame on the Bush Administration. That is why people have such low regard for the U.S. these days.

I never thoght that I could hate people. But these people sure try your patience!

In the interview he says that he has taped on-the-record interviews with these CIA Officials.

I hope that the Congress would get a hold of these tapes, and subpeona these CIA officials to get their testimony under Oath.

As we say in Farsi: 'Ta nabashad chizaki mardom nagooyand chiz ha'. Or in English: 'Where there is smoke, there is Fire'.

This Bush Administration is bad news: For Both U.S., and The Rest of The World - They need to be somehow held accountable by someone; Congress or the Court

The war was a strategic

by Farhad Kashani on

The war was a strategic mistake, not a "forge".

These journalists and their irresponsible reporting. Seymour Hersh is a politzer prize winner journalist too, back in 2006, he said he has "credible" source and "guaranteed" information that the U.S is going to attack Iran in June 2006. Well?

Seven years ago ...

the Mollahs had two (2) enemies: Taliban to the east; and Saddam to the west.

Now not only both Saddam and the Taliban are gone, but all the Mollah's goffers (Noche's) are ruling Iraq.

Mr. Al-Maliki, the Prime Minster, and all of his buddies spent over 25 years in exile in Iran.

You call these people in Washington 'Smart'. Making a fake, stupid letter that any monkey can recognize.

As we say in farsi: Vaghe'an Ke' - from George Washington and Thomas Jefferson and Abraham Lincoln to these idiots. The founding fathers are rolling in their graves.

The Mullahs have to be very careful .. If this bunch can use a fake letter to go to Iraq, then they would use any excuse to go to Iran.

Bush Administration is nothing but a bunch of 'Gangsters'. That Simple!!
