Remember US$15.2 million Backhander?

Iran-Norway bilateral relations are of historical significance. Remember US$15.2 million Backhander involving Statoil and Horton Investments consultancy company owned by Mehdi Hashemi Rafsanjani? The sweetner was given to Hashemi so he would help Statoil with deals in Iran. That was in 2002-2003. Noises regarding this huge scandal, though, died down pretty fast. I have some bizarre conspiracy theory in that regard, but I'd rather keep it to myself!

One thing that I have learned from the British lads that I hang out with on this side of the big pond is that they all have Mum issues, and I think that Charles and Camilla relationship falls under that category; with all the spanking and breast feeding that goes with it!

On Norway. The People etc.

I know and have quite a few friends from Norway.  These people are for real and really the best society in europe and possibly in the world.  And by far too.  Lucky Iranians to be living in Norway, I know that racism exists to various degrees everywhere, but in my view Norway is one of the few places on the planet which ironically doesn't need to work on this one, yet they do at all levels.  They don't use a racial lens, no clue how they accomplished the society they have, but it puts for example the UK where I live totally to shame.  They celebrate Bohemian way of life and genuinely reward and appreciate their artists, so they have a very special place in my heart.  They know what matters beyond cliches.The guy who was the religous fanatic that killed so many people was totally the opposite of the Norway I know, I was really shocked that happened because it totally misrepresented a culture which is far better than that.  If anyone goes for a visit you must do these 2 things in the dog sledding video //www.visitnorway.com/en/Where-to-go/North/Ki...

actually the report talks about the queen meeting with typical muslim families... this one happened to be iranian... which is also strange here in scandinavia, that iranian call themselves muslims or wear headscarfes, mostly diplomat families are like that or more religious families...
