I believe he is the son of Dr. Marandi who was the Iranian Health minister during Mousavi's presidency ......  he was born in the U.S  and spend most of his childhood here ......

This is democracy ... is it not?  Then why are you all so pissed off him talking his point of views? ..........    let him bla bla as much as he wants ...... I also think he has been in charge of the iranian state TV for a long time ..... he is a supporter of Velayat Faghee and would cut the head off anyone who is against him ....... a total brainwashed and lost soul ..... but still it is good to hear different voices 0n  CNN

last year after the post election uprising.

Also I read somewhere that this criminal is also a "US Citizen". In which case, I expect to see him rushing  back "home" to US, with suit cases full of US Dollars, in not so distant future....

JJ, please don't lose sight

by Shifteh Ansari on

JJ, please don't lose sight of Hossein Shariatmadari's crimes against humanity during the past 30 years. He will have to have his own trial in which he will be accountable for his systematic work on destroying and eliminating Iran's intellectuals, artists, writers, journalists, and dissidents. There are very few people in the contemporary Iranian history who have more responsibility than Hossein Shariatmadari for violations of human rights, crimes against humanity, and outright murder of political dissidents.

Mohammad Marandi is a sorry excuse for a human being. The story of his appearance on programs like this (mostly by AlJazeera, really), must have started with his being a trusted member of the ruling class and his knowledge of English, and not because he has any particular expertise on anything. In time, he may have received some kind of "on-the-job-training" as the unofficial spokesperson for the Iranian government, representing them to the foreign media. Mohammad Marandi and all others who defend the indefensible actions of the Islamic Republic of Iran and are willing to lie and conceal the truth for power, are traitors to Iran and Iranians.

Who's more chendeshavar. This guy or Shariatmadari.

It's not easy to hide the truth. They try their best. And make us laugh at their idiotic arrogance.
