Wake up!
by masoudA
29-Oct-2007

Those of you Iranian nationalists who have bought into the idea of a Shiite dominated middle-east headed by the Islamic Republic, wake up from the mullah inflicted trans.Yes, our Persian values are great, but what gives you the idea that with a backward anti-Persian ideology the mullahs can do it, or have anything worth exporting anywhere? Why would you even want to help expand the backwardness? Wake up and see the trends of where things are going.

Besides – why would we ever want to have any control over Iraq , Palestine, Lebanon or Pakistan now? What good are these territories, their people and culture going to do for our current sad social and economical state, with crash of human values and 70% of the population living under the poverty lines? Don’t be fooled by all the propaganda over the mullah’s mighty army, with imported military technology and manpower.

Whatever you do, just don’t let them use you as shields, because I already know you are too smart to actually fight for them! The mullahs have survived by parading you in front cameras for 28 years now, don’t let them get away with it anymore.

Next in line are those who are still fighting capitalism and imperialism. Don’t you realize the mullahs represent the darkest sides of capitalism and imperialism? These are people who love the concept of private ownership, with no regards for production!!

To these leaches, production means taking from others. And as for imperialism, hasn’t the last 28 years given you enough glimpses on deceitful tasteless royalist mullahs? Their undying quest for wealth, and cornering, hiding, and thereby defusing of the country resources, and their dislike of arts represents the worst in the history of all royals. Yes, the world can stand a lot of improvements, but looking towards the mullahs for solutions will not get us anywhere but deeper into the dark hole.

And last but not least are the brainwashed religious freaks.I know you have been formatted in way to reject any new concepts, but I will try this one more time: All Human are equal in rights. In 1948, and after WW2, representatives of all nations signed a basic human rights treaty in 30 articles.

Believe it or not our culture was very instrumental in devising the 30 articles and our country was in fact one of the first to sign it.Go ahead and take time to glance through it, but let me just give you a small but crucial summary:

All human have equal rights regardless of gender, faith, nationality and race. If that sounds familiar to you it’s because our forefathers were the first on earth to formulate such values and ideologies. You can believe in and practice any religion or faith you like, as long as you don’t impose your beliefs on others.

That means we must make sure religious beliefs are not part of social laws, especially in cases when a religion gives favorable rights to members of a certain gender or religion as Islam does.

Wake up – because as you can see all around you, Iran is getting cornered, and unfortunately rightfully so.We are at a critical point in out history, since what is coming out of the mullah regime brews nothing but further trouble.

It does however appear that the international community has a pretty good handle on what is actually taking place in Iran , by calling the general population, “hostages” of the mullahs. This is the crucial point at which true Iranians must consider the collective national interests over and above personal gains, and catch the fish of “Freedom, Democracy, and Sanity” from the muddy waters!!

This is the time when we must all stick together for the sake of preserving our national interests. These are times when the Islamic Republic will sign off anything in order to get security assurance from the west or in hope of back-up from Russia or China . That is why it’s extremely important for us to make sure the international community knows that the theocracy in Iran is not a legal democracy endorsed by the general population.

And finally, to the fools who hold-up “Stay out of Iran ” signs in rallies, while living in San Francisco!!! Do you have a solution? During these crucial times and given the directions the mullahs have taken Iran , there is no bigger crime against the motherland than: Living outside Iran Promoting the Status-Quo.

Boy, don't shy away from generalizing and pointing your judgeness' unfair observing finger at everyone. So what do you say, are you for Iran to be attacked and little by little turn into another war like Iraq? (I think that's what those people were expressing), where do you stand on this issue of United States attacking Iran and a new war to start with Iran?

I agree with you that unfortunately anti-war and peace marches will have no impact on King George and the neocons. The SF march prior to the Iraqi war was the largest anti-war march since Vietnam. It still didn't stop this Administraton to go forward with its agenda.

However, to call these protestors fools, as MassoudA states is disrespectful, and cowardly. At least they are not sitting in the comfy of their couches at home, and are attempting to do something positive. The last thing they need from us is to belittle their efforts.

If you don't believe that anti-war protests are going to be able to divert another catastrophic war, then by all means provide us with a good solution!

In fact another author provided his solution on this web-site (iranian.com)

Mission Possible: A time to Act
//iranian.com/main/node/9599

FOR THOSE WHO CARE I WOULD SUGGEST THAT YOU SWITCH OUT OF THIS ARTICLE AND READ THE OTHER ONE. IT PROVIDES US WITH A POSITIVE SOLUTION TO TAKE ACTION that could serve our mother land, the Iranian people, and the people of this country.

MassoudA also does not care about the American soldiers nor the American people. I wish there would be a draft so that the likes of MassoudA would have to serve in Baghdad to know how it would feel. That is of course if he has not already recieved his exemption from those who are asking him to post these type of articles on this web-site to create a wedge in the Iranian-American community as well as peace loving Americans.

Massoud or Mossad?

by Soraya Sepahpour-Ulrich on

Not even the courage to use your full name?  Course not, how could you when you are endorsing the genocide of Iranians, the destruction of Iran under the guise of ridding Iran of  the 'backward, capitalist mullahs'.  Real Iranians know that there are no ambitions over other territories, unilike the ones your masters.  It is also your masters' kniving plan to isolate Iran further exploited by the Sunni Arabs claim of a 'Shia rise' - a familiar domestic political means of taking advantage of sectarian prejudices - in order to secure their legitimacy.  I wonder if Jimmy Carter, the former U.S. President ihas 'backward anti-Persian' ideologies for speaking up on behalf of the oppressed Palestinians, for believing that your master effectively staged a coup agains the demoractically elected Hamas? Maybe he is a mullah disguised as an evangelical?

Wouldn't ibe nice if your damn masters stopped messing with Iran and removed the sanctions?  A country that has been through an 8 year war, years of sanctions, do you want it to be en par with the Denmark? especially sicne it has so many ready to betray it.

The forefathers would no doubt disown you - and are turning in their grave thinking how dare he call himself a child of Iran.

massoud pinch yourself before it is too late!

by Anonyms (not verified) on

Massoud, you and others like you that have packed and are ready to be flown to Iran by Blackwater USA mercenaries need to wake up from your sweet dreams. As you may have seen a couple of weeks ago one of those neocon generals in your favorite channel (foxnews) said that their plan is just to destroy Iran as much as possible without going to Iran.
Even neocons are not so stupid to do the same mistake twice, i.e., wasting American lives and $ for Iranian version of Ahmad Chalabies. Wake up from you sweet dream, because even if you land in Tehran, your dream will turn into a nightmare!

I wouldn't worry that much though, since frankly no peace demo has ever prevented a war. Lieberman and his gang remind of that old Iranian joke. Two farmers were standing on the either side of a creek and fighting over the water. Their faces turned red and their neck's veins popped out while exchanging the hottest words and profanities.  A passing by man noticed it and wondered around for while then he shouted why one of you won’t go to the other side and beat the heck out of the other one? As soon as he said that one of the fighting parties got close to the man and with a calm voice said, you know, this shirt is 15 Gheroon it is not worth tearing it up for a 2-Gheroon water…

You need to wake up!

“Those of you Iranian nationalists who have bought into the idea of a Shiite dominated middle-east headed by the Islamic Republic..”

Neither IRI nor Iranians have been looking for domination in the region. IRI, however has used its influence to resist those (US, ..) who want to dominate this region to secure their world dominance for the next decade. IRI has always acted defensively. Bush and neocons are not even hiding their objective of creating a new Middle East with their domination. It is not your empty slogans that have prevented the US to turn Iran into Iraq so far. YOU need to wake up!

Wake up Iranians before Iran is destroyed by the U.S./Zionists

by Ari (not verified) on

Whatever MassoudA wants to say, he is free to say. He is simply parroting the agenda of the man sitting in the White House and for all of you who have not realized that the President is an idiot, then continue reading MassoudA's article.

However, for the rest of you Iranians who love Iran purely for Iran's sake and for the many millions who will be killed by the crazies in the White House, please stand up and unite against a war of agression against your mother land. All you have to do is take a long look at Iraq, and what has become of the Iraqi people. If you think they got freedom and liberty, then Iranians will get the same freedom and liberty.

If you don't care about your country, then at least think about the Iranians living in Iran who don't want to become the next Iraq. That's basic human compassion and civility. Nothing more!!

Mullahs or no Mullahs. It doesn't matter. The U.S. by all accounts will attack Iran. This is not psychological warfare, and if you think that because of the fiasco in Iraq they are not stupid enough to do it, well, look again. They have nothing to lose. Those in the White House, the neocons, love OIL. The higher the oil price, the better for them. They also don't give a damn about the poor American soldier who has to be killed for their greed of power and oil.
Blood for Oil
//www.youtube.com/watch?v=X6IM80ZyTd8

Congressional representatives and presidential hopefuls, know more about American policy than Mr. MassoudA. And they are saying that the U.S. will attack. The Kyle-Lieberman Resolution was a direct step towards that end. So you can either sit here and listen to MassoudA, or take action on behalf of your country and your people.

As for those who went on a march, bravo to them, they may not be in Iran, but they are doing whatever is in their means and power. While some Iranians are sitting outside of Iran and are begging the U.S. to drop a bomb on Iran. Shame on them!!

You sound a lot like Amir Abbas FakhrAvar... I tell you one thing man. Americans might not like Mullas but what they hate the most are the traitors. For one single reason. If you are willing to sell your own country for dirt cheap you will sell theirs even cheaper in no time.

  How dare you

by Niki on

How dare you pontificate on what consitutes a "crime against the motherland," when you are promoting that it be blown to pieces?

The people who are out marching against war are against the status quo, not for it. In case you haven't noticed, the status quo in the US is to bomb, bomb, and then bomb.

And where, pray tell, are you located?

Who is the bigger criminal, the person who marches for peace in San Francisco or the nameless coward who calls for more war?

Cyrus is the GOD

by XerXes (not verified) on

Cyrus is our god we as iranians must worship him.
He gave us life and he gave us freedom and various rights we never had before, he is the GOD, those who say he was a dictator go to hell, he was not a human, he was GOD and must be worshipped as such.
He is the protector of Iran and will be with us forever. Those who say he was King must be so stupid, he is and will be the only God and the creator of universe and he created US iranians as the ruler of this planet.
