Iran’s Ameneh pardons but I don’t

by Diba

Ameneh Bahrami , The Iranian lady that was seriously disfigured by a dirty criminal, who throw acid to her body, has pardoned him and stopped the Iranian court from doing the same to him.

I respect the greatness of this lady’s personality and I wish every success for her and I am even ready to contribute to a fund that should be established in her name. However, I would like register my view as an observer, that I do not forgive the criminal, who acted in this way.

This is the indication of the utmost barbarity in anyone who even thinks about such acts. I wish him all the bad things that life has to offer.

I think that a just government should try and condemn this criminal not according to the outdated laws of the ancient Arab nomads, but according to the modern criminological principles and make sure that he never can have a good day in his life.

The criminals who attack the Iranian women are enjoying the support of corrupt, outdated, unreasonable and inhuman laws of the Islamic Republic in Iran which are derived from the traditions observed by the ancient Arab nomads and preserved in the ridiculous collections called “resalah Ahkam “ or book of the rulings of the “sources of imitation”, In the Shiite Fiqh. According to this barbaric “justice system”, the criminal acts are considered as private acts and the punishment (Ghesas) is settled in the private relations. Under these circumstances, and due to the pressures of the society and putting the victim under tremendous psychological attacks, the criminals are set free as soon as the victim is forced to give pardon.

The Iranian women are already under many kinds of discriminations by the inhumane regime of the Islamic Republic of Iran and it is source of absolute shame that the criminals in Iran find legal loopholes for misusing and violating even the minimal rights that the religious Shiite Islamic government attaches to women.

As far the Shiite Islamic law in concerned the women are not human beings. There are many verses in Koran and more evidences in the religious narrations (Ahadith) about women being considered as part of the property. Unlike the fabrications faked by idiots such as Ali Shariati regarding the lofty rules of Islam, there are undeniable evidences in countless Islamic sources that even the most important women such the daughter the prophet and the imams were never respected by the Islamic society.

I pay my respects to the lofty humane behavior of the Iranian lady who forgives the barbaric criminal attacker but I would like to say again to her and the society that I Never FORGIVE THIS CRIMINAL and his allies.

I see some brothers and sisters who do not believe in Islam are calling each other brother, sister, half brother, quater sister, etc.

When I address you as brothers and sisters I say it out of the  goodness of  my hear and I always respect people who address me in the same way in return. But I find strange that some people who are athiests or non-muslim are trying to be funny and call each other in this manner.

Well, I am very saddened to see that my recpectful and affectionate manners are now subject of derison.

I hope I am mistaken.

You're very welcome. These high profile cases that we see and hear are only the tip of the iceberg as far as women's repression in Iran. In some cities, in some parts you simply can't leave any female member of your family alone, it's getting that bad. Naming streets after survivors of violence is a great idea indeed.

Thank you, Brother Mash Ghasem, for your translation! It is a great proposal! The lady has suffered so much, nothing can take away her physical pain!

I hope she feels comforted by the proposal!

P.S. I read that former president, Khatami, donated money for her surgeries.

The Holy Qur'an says:

(The recompense for an evil is an evil like thereof). This is like the Ayat:

﴿فَمَنِ اعْتَدَى عَلَيْكُمْ فَاعْتَدُواْ عَلَيْهِ بِمِثْلِ مَا اعْتَدَى عَلَيْكُمْ﴾

(Then whoever transgresses the prohibition against you, you transgress likewise against him) (2:194), and

(And if you punish, then punish them with the like of that with which you were afflicted) (16:126). Justice, has been prescribed, in the form of the prescribed laws of equality in punishment (Al-Qisas), but the better way, which means forgiving, is recommended, as Allah says:

﴿وَالْجُرُوحَ قِصَاصٌ فَمَن تَصَدَّقَ بِهِ فَهُوَ كَفَّارَةٌ لَّهُ﴾

(and wounds equal for equal. But if anyone remits the retaliation by way of charity, it shall be for him an expiation) (5:45). Allah says here:

(but whoever forgives and makes reconciliation, his reward is with Allah. ) means, that will not be wasted with Allah. As it says in a Sahih Hadith:

«وَمَا زَادَ اللهُ تَعَالَى عَبْدًا بِعَفْوٍ إِلَّا عِزًّا»

(Allah does not increase the person who forgives except in honor.)''

(Verily, He likes not the wrongdoers.) means, the aggressors, i.e., those who initiate the evil actions.

(And indeed whosoever takes revenge after he has suffered wrong, for such there is no way (of blame) against them.) means, there is no sin on him for taking revenge against the one who wronged him.

(The way) means, the burden of sin,

(is only against those who oppress men and rebel in the earth without justification;) means, those who initiate wrongful actions against others,

Easy Marjan, just because he has a phD, doesn't mean he's not

by amirparvizforsecularmonarchy on

ignorant or that he's some authority, attacking iran is his view and I agree with you is based on total ignorance.

But if we all screamed at people that were ignorant, well if that was the case who could we really talk to?  We are all ignorant on so many various subjects.

So many specialized An-tellectuals that couldn't work together, created 1979 and betrayed the Shah, Iran and each other and instead of scream for the millions they killed and the nation they enslaved, we have to laugh it off.

actually the free world first assasinated the shah politically by creating dictator, torturor, crook, megalomaniac, and hand picked khomeini to support under the cover of democracy.

In the phD's defense... He is against Islam in govt, that is one plus, he realizes the IRI itself will lead to more injustice, mismanagement, backwardness, corruption, war, torture, death of thousands..

What he doesn't get is that this is exactly why the USA wants Islam for Iran and supports all the muslim groups covertly and unlawfully via the cia which are behind the islamization of north africa.  Its why they invaded secular iraq and replaced it with a sharia based constitution.  That is what they could not do through friendship and betrayal, they imposed through war.

He doesn't get that the usa has no aim for freedom, justice and democracy for anywhere that is vital and US Forces in Iran would cause an estimate 4 million deaths, he just has no info.  That is why the USA created this policy of fundamentalism and will not do a thing to change it.  The last place the USA will ever go to war over with their own soldiers is a key strategic location like Iran.  Pressure it yes, publicly state they will not delist the mek and then go ahead and covertly use MEK instead, absolutely.  US Troops, Highly unlikely for now.

So we can say he has poor political judgement and it is based on a lack of information.

What it sadly shows is he is a traitor to his own people, because even if one wanted IRI gone, War is not the way to get it done, supporting a person like Reza Pahlavi, which the USA will never do, is a solution because he can get over a million people of monarchist leanings who's parents 600,000 of whom served in the Shahs Army within Iran to leave the country, get military training and come back and remove the regime.

But alas the US, Israel and UK have been covertly supporting the MEK with Cash, because they still love Islam for Iran, in govt because of what it can do in keeping iran poor weak and backwards.

Do you see me swearing at the rest of the fools on this site that are totally unaware that there is only one option in Iran that has the possibility to remove the regime.  No, it's healthier to laugh really. The day they figure out what the only option is will a long way away, what with the media keeping their heads warm with impossible idea's of grass roots democracy.

What is s different about this guy that has made you think he needs to do some explanations?  We have tons of bomb bomb people on this site...   At least this one is not a coward and signs with his full name. I give him a lot of credit for that ...

Come on .... it is democracy and we each have one vote ..... explanations and TV appearance ? ?   .... you must be joking ? right?

Marjan ...

Thanks for the link  ....

He has mixed facts and fictions in this letter ..... he has some valid points( I almost agree with every point he made about IRI crimes and hypocrisy and the fact that IRI has lost his support among people )  but at the same time he has made some outrages pro war statements .....

I like the way he begs U.S to invade .... He must have some degree in

" International Begging Law "  from the  " Begger Institute of butt kissing"  LOL

and he is giving things in exchange to U.S as well ... I am not sure who died and made him God ?

Here is one of his many offering to the U.S if it invades :

6. Possibility of better access to the Iranian oil and gas. This gives the US a good position to deal with the Europe and the Russians

Life sometimes plays funny games, sadly funny ones. It seems that the writer of the blog has some explaining to do..............I don't wish him to be handed over to the IRI's so-called judiciary system........I want him here, alive and healthy in our own improvised system of justice, not a mock court......but something for him to hear the public opinion and having the chance to defend himself.............Any serious TV host in the house?

In case any of  Marjan's comments are removed, this comment has to go too.
