Islamic Hypocrisy
by mamad on Fri Jul 29, 2011 07:30 PM PDTWhat they don't talk about, in this interview, is the fact
that living in a secular democratic European country is affording them
this very freedom to choose a religion and voice themselves in media.
I'd like to see a muslim choosing to convert to another religion, or to
become an atheist, and announce it in public !!!

I dare say...
by پندارنیک on Fri Jul 29, 2011 06:12 PM PDTThe fact that her safety and security are not (necessarily and systematically) compromised, and that her "right of return" is most likely not revoked, speaks volumes.

In their black robes they scare people away. One crow converts to another crow.
So, what's the difference ?
BLA BLA
by Soosan Khanoom on Fri Jul 29, 2011 05:57 PM PDTThe majority of these women are converting because of marriage. Most to fanatic west residing Iranian men ... This one probably has accompanied her husband to Iran
who cares ....

Real scare, those crows

by David ET on Fri Jul 29, 2011 05:20 PM PDTare because the person falls in love or gets married to the person of another religion. They usually convert back if seperate or divorce.
Not sure if that's the case here but statisticially is likely
Islam and Judaism have so much in common anyway, one was partially copied from another!
Freethought, so Islam and Judaism are like summer and fall...
by Disenchanted on Fri Jul 29, 2011 05:10 PM PDT...wardrobe from Macy's collection?! ;-)
Excellent my erudite IC blogger. This is all fun and games till I remind you that had she been a Muslim women converting to Judaism, the punishment would have been death! OOPS!
Lets call that Macy's catalog "HELL" edition! :-0
A Showcase, Showdown?

by Freethought111 on Fri Jul 29, 2011 04:53 PM PDTAt the risk of getting a stampede of women kicking my backside on this thread and calling me a sexist for uttering the following truism, no one likes to wear the same apparel everyday - especially women. But conversion from Orthodox Judaism to Shi'a Islam isn't that much of a conversion. You are dealing with the same set of assumptions just a slight difference in ornamentation and minor emphasis. It is as if one is dealing with the summer and fall wardrobe catalogues from Macy's (hope you catch my drift)...
How much did SA pay for this ?
by Rea on Fri Jul 29, 2011 04:52 PM PDTlooool ;o)
PS. You are'nt taking it seriously, are you ?
Ironically the "beauty" of Hijab is lost on....
by Disenchanted on Fri Jul 29, 2011 04:37 PM PDT...tons of women living in Iran itself! So those close to the fountain remain thirsty while others are fascinated by it! I wonder why?!
Since Freethougth is on this blog at the risk of starting another "ping pong" match I'd ask, If the "truth" is the same and lucidly expressed in all "revealed wisdom" what is the big deal switching from one "revealed wisdom" to another?! :-) (It is a rhetorical question)
