 It may be, I assume, because Bach being the Kapellmeister, on whose compositions this emulative mutilation of a so-called prelude is based, are often played on the organ upon entrance into church services , especially as renditions and transcriptions.

I too, listened to it many times. Sometimes reminded me of Chopin's (Romantic era) prelude in C minor which is almost as short and sighs with a similar emotion to Shirazi's piece.

Loved the video work showing "both" voices side by side. Not sure guitar image works (it's not played in the piece) though it maybe there for color match.

 it's not a prelude and it would be nice if the singer actually hit the notes properly. 

 Spend more time on IC and I shall fancy myself as a writer, poet, musician, composer, artist, model, professor,misogynist, you name it!
