Very delicate and beautiful. Wish I knew the purpose of it. There's no explanation about this video on YouTube. It appears to be a promo for a song by Sattar (he appears in several places in the clip).

Dear Maziar058
by Souri on Fri Dec 05, 2008 05:29 PM PSTthanks for the nice comment. I really appreciated.
About Ali Sattarpour, I don't have much information. I just know his works and know that he is Sattar's nephew, from Sattar's own words in on interview with bebintv. I tried to find it for you, but it was so long time and I don't remember if this one is the right one. As long as I remember, that interview was about Sattar's whole carrier and life, in 4 parts. I've just find one video which I post here specially for you.
Sorry that I can't be of more help. I wish I could.

common courtesy ?
by maziar 058 (not verified) on Fri Dec 05, 2008 02:46 PM PSTMrs souri your comments and reasoning were all at most higher standard for some to disrespect,Personally find the clips (include the one w/music) very interesting. the old way of belittling is one of the most reason that I try to avoid any Iranian in our small Iranian community. (Iranian.com excluded.)
P.s, doe's Mr.Ali lives in Paris or Connecticut ?
I guess as long as we have
by La (not verified) on Fri Dec 05, 2008 01:23 PM PSTI guess as long as we have people like you to approve this kind of Garb****ge and call it art or talented director, we should not expect to get or have a decent art forms that can be recognize in the international community.
BTW: simple minded is not a bad thing as long as you don't know anything better..

by Souri on Fri Dec 05, 2008 12:38 PM PSTFew people in this site (including yourself) do not know the diplomacy and disipline to conduct a debate in a forum.
Let me just remind you a little thing that you can adopt for all your conversation here without hurting other people's feeling (of course if this was not your main intention)
You can just speak your mind, saying that you don't recognize this as an art, or your 4 years old son (:-) congratulation!!) can just do the same thing, without calling me and giving me a lecture on how I SHOULD see things or how I MUST educated myself with the help of a dictionary.
Simple minded ? I don't care !!
I don't need to remind you that also JJ had found this clip interesting without knowing what it talks about !! But it seems that it is a pleasure for you to point only ME out of this, isn't it ?
Unfortunately, some of us, have the same old way of "belittling" others in order to feel better about ourself and passing our message trough. I can tell you honestly and surely that, in the contrary, this will have a negative result.
I really don't care what you think about Ali Sattarpour or who you are or how you see the moving art, as long as you are not even able to do a simple act of speaking your mind, in a respectful manner.
Mrs: Souri, i didn't mean to
by LA (not verified) on Fri Dec 05, 2008 11:28 AM PSTMrs: Souri, i didn't mean to disrespect you..It was my opinion to get my point of view across regarding that talented director must satisfy their audiences. I won't settle for less when it come to moving art. And since you're easy to please i'll simply call you a simple minded. And again i respect that.
Dictionary.....I checked it !
by Souri on Fri Dec 05, 2008 09:54 AM PSTMy dictionary, for the stupid, illiterate, ignorant people like me, says:
Talented = Ali Sattarpour.
IN DICTIONARY JUXTAPOSITION
by La (not verified) on Fri Dec 05, 2008 08:31 AM PSTIN DICTIONARY JUXTAPOSITION MEANS: A placing side by side or close together. Lots of director use this technic to tell their story through a visual effect which by using single photo or frame. ..So, what this clip was about? I didn't get it..And talented? Please give me a break. My 4 yrs old son can do THE SAME THING.
MRS: SOURI CHECK YOUR DICTIONARY FOR TALENTED..
It is a collection...
by Souri on Thu Dec 04, 2008 04:04 PM PSTThis is a collection of all/some ?? of the clips made by ali Sattarpour for various songs of Sattar. If you were a fan of Sattar(like urs truly :o)) You would recognize many scenes among them which belongs to different video clips of Sattar.
