Which Path to Persia?
by Soosan Khanoom

As planned by the Wall Street controllers of the world, the road goes through Libya, Syria, and then Iran. And the dumb and deaf bomb bomb crowd on this site with their MEK delisting supporters are counting days and can't wait to wave American flags to the conquerors of their oil wells. Mossadeq must be turning in his grave now.

Obama may read the teleprompter better than W but they both get the written speeches from the same source, Wall Street.

Toread the entire Brookings Institute report, "Which Path to Persia?" click here.

Having said that , I should also say West has no idea who really they are dealing with when it comes to Iran and Iranians. West is correct on the paper and I have no doubt in their intentions but they have to take one historical fact into account; Iran, the old Persia, is a country that without exception has subdued its conquerors into becoming Iranians.

Take a few examples from history:

1. The Arabs after taking Iran became Iranians. The Iranian Moslems then wrote the Arabic Grammar for the first time, an Arab-Iranian born Moslem called Omar Khayyam wrote all his poetry in Persian and devised the mostaccurate solar calendar.

2. The barbaric Mongols attacked Iran; Changis-Khan made 50 foot high pillarsof Iranian soldier heads after conquering Iran. Iran then domiciled the Mongols; they became Iranian, Moslem and civilized. The Mongol rulers of Persia were proud to be called Persians and rebuild Iran better than they destroyed it.

3. The Turks attacked Iran, they destroyed everything. The Turks became Muslim, proud to be called Persian, such as Saljoghian and Ghajar, all were Turks.

4. Going even further back Alexander the great attacked Iran, burned Persepolis to the ground, then became so Iranianized that he rebuilt Iran, Married a pretty Persian girl Roxanna. He even mentioned multiple times that "my favorite conquered country is Persia and I am proud to call it my second home.

So the West should think twice or as many times as the conquerors that concurred Iran in the past before attacking Iran. They will either be defeated (which is highly more likely given the unbelievable Iranian-Persian nationalism) or if they ever conquer Iran, they will become not only Iranian but also muslims. More importantly they willl in the future be so proud if the world would call them Persians. That is the best case scenario and that is if they do not get defeated or get involved in a looooong battle and literally get stuck in a mud like donkey with no way out.

PS: Note to some commentators on this site:

Wall Street plan has nothing to do with the Iranian people struggle for Democracy. I truly support Iranian democratic movement but Iran's domestic affairs has nothing to do with what "Wall Street" has in mind. Please save your time and energy and DO NOT bring up issues unrelated to the topic of this blog. Also please note that I have been very gentle and did not even mention the security of the state of Israel which for sure is another major factor. But then the name Wall street or the Golden Calf, as I prefer to call it, probably says it all.

It is true that Christianity has a worse track record in dealing with scientific progress but that does not contradict the fact that all religions are myth! They belong to early era in history. Human history is asymmetric. Past is always ignorant compare to future. But as you suggested we pick up this topic somewhere else.

My point was however that even though currently religion is a main component of Iran's identity (contrary to what some wishful intellectuals may think), it won't & can't be the case in not too distant of a future!

But on the main point I agree with your sentiment that advocating an attack on Iran is a stupid idea and carrying that out is even more stupid!

From within, from without, right way or wrong way, we're OK with it. Indeed,  I'd hug khamenei, ahmadinezhad and their entire "die hard" gang of thieves, terrorists and murderers, all the way to that nice little court house in hague...

fair enough?

Dear XOXO

by Soosan Khanoom on

I guess we are at the same page regarding him being born in Iran and any link you are posting just confirms his birth place.

Look at the date of his birth and the date of Arab invasion of Persia. He is second/ possibly third generation Arabs who born in Iran and wrote in Persian .  Also this was brought up in a class I took back in college...

Anyway , I am sure there are many more examples other than him but he was and is a major poet and a muslim scientist even within the standards of today's western society.

I like you too dear XOXO  and please do not hesitate to point out questionable items or further facts. I would make the corrections if it is necessary but in his case I am pretty sure ..

Now we are not here to discuss his parents birth certificate, like Obama ! are we?  LOL

by vildemose on

I did skimmed through the 170 pages and read the conclusion. It was very disturbing on so many levels.  I don't know how we can put end to this abomination where other nations can determine the future lives of so many others. If the IRI was no so corrupt-ravaged and foolish, others could not so easily make or break it. This kind of manipulaion can only happen when the ruling elite do not represent the will of the people and are only interested in lining their own pockets.

Reform requires the consent of the corrupt

Soosan, they can't conquer us ... I agree

by BoosBoos on

... it's a losing battle for them.  The best they can do is start another civil war.  Iranians vanquish all invaders (some take longer), but it happens.

Great article!

Thanks XOXO

by Soosan Khanoom on

For the comments. I have to look up further into your version but nothing that you mentioned can really change the facts that I brought up; even if Arabs sent a few women to Arabia. They, like many others invaders in our country 's history, invaded and they stayed and they completely became Iranians soon after. Iran did not become a Turkish or Mongolian or Arabic country.  Iran had indirectly influenced them, their invaders, and they became Iranian. That is a fascinating fact.  Iran never became a colony of any country.

Iranians held on to their language, we are still speaking Farsi and Farsi is official language not Turkish or Mongolian or Arabic , etc .....   Iranians have always been worshiping one God and we  have never fallen for polytheism not even after the invasion of Alexander .. Iranian nation are not an easy nation to conquer..

"Arabic" alphabet based on Perso-Mede Avestan Alphabet

by BoosBoos on

... Most Arabs couldn't read or write until they were influenced by Iran.

Here's the Avestan Alphabet, it's precedes Arabic by many centuries (if it looks like Arabic, it's because they borrowed our calligraphy and alphabet; a lot of people did that; but look at how close it is:

Soosan Khanoom .

by BoosBoos on

Soosan, I like you very much; I know where you're coming from in this article (and thanks for denouncing the "bomb Iran" crowd).  But some of the historical facts were a little off -- but it's okay.

* The Arab invaders sacked the seat of power (there were only about 30,000 - 50,000 of them) -- but they kidnapped many Iranian girls and sent them back to Arabian lands to be raped / sold.   You'll see that many 'Arabs' look Iranian.

* Azaris were and always have been Iranians -- their language got changed from the Turco-Mongol invasions.

* Many of the Turkemen are 2-rageh: Already they had mixed with Iranians in Samarkhand and Bukhara on their travels from the Altai mountains ; then they got to the Turkmenistan area and mixed again in NorthEastern Iran.

I don't have anything against people based on their ethnicity -- if they know themselves as Iranians now; bless them.  If they are our enemies, that's their choice.  Many of them are actually Iranians from hundreds of years of marriage and child-bearing.

Battle of science and religion ..... !!!  Which religion are you talking about ?

This battle was and still is ( as you see for example  n the stem cell research , etc) a battle between science and Christian church.  But Sceince and Islam have never been contradicting each other. But,anyway, this is not what we should be discussing on this blog ..

The reason I mentioned they became muslims is because they really did become one at that time.  And , NO, Iran did not even invade so the Turks or Mongols being forced to accept Islam ...... Quite contrary they were the ones who invaded Iran and I think that is by itself remarkable and something to ponder...

Thanks for commenting and  It seems that as you have pointed out THE scenario is going to be the case here .....

Analogy with Arab or Mongol invasion is not warranted!

by Disenchanted on

Likelihood of an all out invasion by foreign forces is almost nil!

A scenario similar to Libya is more likely particularly in the wake of what happened there. In any case Iran would be bombed to stone age! A scenario that everyone from Israel to Saudi to Gulf states would love to see.

Iran's future identity is also up for grabs. I don't think Iran or any other country can have a religious identity too far into the future. Battle of science and religion is only 400 years old. Eventually the truth will dominate the myth!
