Hi! Omid,

I found the video by using the search phrase "Arm amputation Iran" on you-tube....I have sent the video link to JJ....the video has hangings, stoning, and hand amputation (without anesthesia)......all the IRI's barbarities in one video....

Thank you for exposing IRI's brutality.....I know it is very hard on you emotionally!

Thank you!!!

Hi! Sargord Pirouz,

Did you read the news article provided in Omid's blog? IRI amputated 5 people's limbs in 12 months in Ahvaz alone:

According to the official Iranian sources, this is the fifth case of amputation in the city of Ahvaz during the last 12 months.

The 20 year old video you watched or I watched has nothing to do with this case.....what I am saying is that IRI is not improving or getting more lenient in any way....IRI is getting more barbaric.........

If you still know where that video is send it to the editor.  He might post it if it hasn't been posted before, but I for one won't be able to watch it.

I think I saw that video,

I think I saw that video, too, Yolanda. The video looks like it was taken twenty years ago. It's really grainy, but it looked like they may have used a band saw.

You know what's kind of funny? On American news sites that offer commenting, whenever there's a particularly horrendous crime, there are many comments advocating Iranian style justice be served, and these comments have a lot of support votes attached to them.

Now I'm not advocating this kind of thing. I'm only saying, it's amazing the level of support these comments are given on American news sites. Are these advocates and their many supporters "barbarians"? (They seem popular.) Perhaps it's a knee jerk reaction. Perhaps not.

Thank you for bringing attention to IRI's cruelty....I watched a video on You-tube showing the hand amputation procedure in Iran....actually it was  not a medical procedure...there was no IV pole and anesthetic.....the dude was forced to stick his hand into an industrial machine to be dismembered.......it was purely painful and gory.....it is absolutely barbaric and uncivilized.....
