Hi! Sag,

You cracked me up 'cause you called the fashion tent! LOL! I guess the designer tried to comply with Islamic dress code and be fashionable at the same time....:O)

Hi! Gavazn,

The burga that got my attention is "Fabric prison"! Burka is like a prison to me!

Thank you for sharing!

P.S. I hope they make hejab or burga optional. I hope they don't force female athletes to wear hejab!

Designers have done their best

but some of these designs are so loose you might as well be wearing a tent. Some of the plunging necklines are quite daring!

I am not against burkas on a bad day. When you can't be bothered to wear makeup, can't make up your mind what to wear, etc. Just put on a tent over you and Voila!

LOL. The one with human hair - the poor woman who had to wear it and model it. Very itchy and creepy.

Got sent these - have to share them .... :-)

Burkas in Fashion (my favourite is the Marilyn Monroe one, and the burka knitted from human hair)
