Javadagha jan, I didn’t know I was using this site free, I thought money is deducted from my paycheck for visiting this site, cnn, new york times, cnbc, google or yahoo... just kidding...

You know other guys also in different blogs are making such a big deal out of this day. Come on, who cares about St. Valentine... forget about the origin, and there is nothing wrong by specializing one day more that other 355 days for expressing more love to dear people in our life such as lover/partner, parents, children brother/sister, or whomever that has special place in our heart... why the appreciation should be measured in the monitory format, that is an individual choice. A simple phone call, email/card or bunch of flower for a parent means a world of love. It’s sad to hear recognition of love is only for teenagers or only for intimate lovers. Please take it easy some of you Persian guys, stop criticizing ...

Now Javadagha jan, you are bragging about being generous. Let’s see, past couple of days I was checking the article about "ShayanShirzadi". How about making a real Valentine's Day for somebody like him without asking too many questions... I was thinking no matter who he is the need for money is there, so let’s make some donations. Let’s ask the translator how we can help and what the procedure is, I don’t mind to pay 1/4 of what he is asking for. Talking about your generosity, How about you? Are willing to help and make a Valentine's Day for somebody?

Whoever wants to celebrate Valentine's day, good for them. And whoever finds this day of "love" a bit facetious and over the top and doesn't celebrate (a comerical hoax which belittles "love" in its commercialized purpose), good for them also. To each their own. I don't and belong to group number two, no offense.

Do you know that you are using this site for free? Do many Eshak's realize this? This is a simple example that any Eshak can understand. I will leave the complicated examples for other days.

Given the many Eshak we have, I am sure they will go out and enjoy the night, and come tomorrow start mooftkhori again.

If you follow my mooftkhori examples, you will notice that I am generous. Actually, very generous.

My Ex wanted to go out, regardless of circumstances and the money spent. The business people (Iranians are quick learners) jack the prices 3-4 times. Does the food get any better? No. Does the service get any better? No.

Once, many moons ago, we went to the Caspian Restaurant in Irvine on the V day. There was no line and we did not have reservation. They made us wait for 15 minutes. When we went inside; MORE THAN half of the place was empty and remained empty.

Stupid people (both men and women) waste money on this night. Someone said I am khasis; I am khasis in this way, YES. But, I am the biggest donor to deserving students and charities. I do not have money for mooftkhoori, that is WHY I have money to give money to scholarships, for example.

Unfortunately, many Iranians turn into Ey-ranians in the U.S. and Canada and become what I call mooftkhor which is no different than living like animals (selfish, have money to fuk and booz around, but do not give damn to surroundings).

Pathetic day

I've never and will never celebrate this date. I don't want my partner to do it and will encourage everyone not to do it.

A bit of decency and integrity tells us how pathetic this day really is.
