After years and years of getting nowhere in trying to come to some reasonable understanding and arrangement with IRR, the Islamist Rapist Republic over its illegal weaponized nuke program, the sane world lead by Democracy Central, DC, has settled on enforcing UNSC resolutions through comprehensive sanctions.
The Comprehensive Iran Sanctions, Accountability, and Divestment Act is in a bipartisan House-Senate Conference Committee preparing the final draft for the President’s signature to become law.
Now comes news of White House trying to have it a la carte that is by inserting the exemption phrase “cooperating country” into the final draft which would allow the President to water dawn the sanctions law any which way he pleases, in other words business as usual, lot of tough talk and no action.
Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, a Conference Committee member who is a well known friend of Iranian people says:
"It's incredible the administration is asking for exemptions, under the table and winking and nodding, before the legislation is signed into law."
This is the very last chance at avoiding war and forcing the messianic Islamist Rapists to abandon their game changing drive to acquire weaponized nuke. White House should not be tampering with a bill favored by the overwhelming bipartisan majority of both Houses, no more doubletalk.
The alternative is too scary to even think about. Everything else has been tried, all that is left is airtight sanctions now even if it has to be unilateral or playing into the hands of Islamist Rapists who are itching for war.
