In an interview Senator John McCain a centrist Republican who when it comes to defending the dignity of human beings never hesitates to go against anyone or political party has put his finger on a very important point about threatening IRR, the Islamist Rapist Republic.
He said:
"We keep threatening sanctions. We keep, for well over a year now -- in fact, including the previous administration -- we keep threatening. And obviously, we have not done anything that would in any way be viewed effective. … We have to be willing to pull the trigger on significant sanctions. And then we have to make plans for whatever contingencies follow if those sanctions are not effective."
He also said:
"stand up for the human rights of the people of Iran. Put the pictures of those people who were brutalizing and killing and torturing the demonstrators and the people who are standing up for their God-given rights. Make them famous. We did that in certain respects during the Cold War."
As a war hero and prisoner of war the Senator is keenly aware of the tragedy of war and why all needs to be done to avoid it.
For the past thirty years especially under the past three U.S. Administrations, a reactive policy of winging it has been the guiding light of American foreign policy towards IRR, the Islamist Rapist Republic.
It is time for DC, the Democracy Central to go back to what she does best, promoting Democracy and defending the huddled masses yearning to breathe free. Iranians are yearning, America, pull the trigger on Iran.

She's either willingly or naively ignores all other prespective and keeps having a monolgue with herself, repeating old and tired seemingly anti-war rhetoric.

told you before and i meant it: the only thing you 'love' is your own ego and selfish desires rather than 'iran'. if you thought of iran you would pay more attention to the need for iran's security and territorial integrity.

She also never backs up her arguments with factual and verifiable source.
She lables everyone as a warmonger and anti-Iran, if they don't agree with her one-sided POV. She is very focused on her self-serving agenda of promoting IRI and if IRI made friends with Israel and the US tomorrow, she will change her tune accordingly...

As I said in the blog, as I along with many others have been saying for a long time, this Islamist Rapist Regime is unreformable. Before IRR imposes another war on Iran and Iranians it has to be overthrown by Iranian people, hence: “pull the trigger on significant sanctions.”
Now go back to your temper tantrum proving what a lovelies you all have been and still are. Keep it up, you are all doing a fantastic job.

When a man enters your home and breaks your property , you fight him. You do not yield on his terms just because he feels like it , he will use that time to gather strength. The one who starts the fight is NOT the one who stops it . Khomeini wanted to create a united islamic state and rid the arab countries of their puppets just like we did in Iran. Your further insult to the many 100s of thousands who died in the war to make your life easier is further testiment to how low , sick , disgusting , warped and divorced from the people of iran , you people are.

throwing words like akhood , mollah and dog around in incoherent and boarderline iliterate rantings of a child does not make you clever. Islam is here to stay , get over it.

On what ground do you force your opinion on the world to trust IRI for their word? Who is unreasonable here? Every one of us here, are nationalist in one form or another. For some it is that same sense of nationalism that supports any act that would free the nation from the grip of theocracy and those who are in control and clearly have declared that “without religion, Iran means nothing to them”. Why do you defend these traitors? Why don’t you get the true meaning of this post?
Iran would not give up any independence by giving up the aspiration for nuclear bomb. People on the street need jobs before bombs. People need the ability to house, feed and cloth themselves before access to nuclear bombs. Why should everything in life be about pride? Why can’t you take pride in your 3000 years of heritage?
As much as I hate to see devastation of war on my mihan, but, Fred has all along been saying that the corrupt IRI is inviting a devastating war on our homeland. And he has been right. This regime that you (unconsciously) support is inviting the devastation on our people
Fred,
by Midwesty on Mon Apr 19, 2010 07:52 PM PDTThis is an old news. i wonder why you brought it up today? Do you take joy in hurting people who love their country but are not able to reach it as quickly as they like to. This game of yours is sick.
But I tell you the real news, Iran for the first time offered to discuss it's nuclear issues with the member of UN security council... and just now Robert Gates backed off from his initial assessment "urging the country to take action against Iran's nuclear stances" noting, his statement on "US having no solid plan against Iran" was misinterpreted.
If you are as smart as you pretend to be, you know very well that there are behind the doors deals going on ;O).
Maybe that's the source of your anger and sick game to hurt people who never hurt you.
That's pathetic!
Mullen: Strikes would delay
by vildemose on Mon Apr 19, 2010 07:41 PM PDTAdm. Mike Mullen, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said a U.S. strike would "go a long way to delaying" Iran's nuclear program, but would be his "last option."
"Military options would go a long way to delaying" Iran's nuclear program, Mullen told reporters after a Columbia University conference, Reuters reported.
"That's not my call, that's going to be the president's call," Mullen continued. "But from my perspective ... the last option is to strike right now."
Iran achieving a nuclear weapons capability "has unintended consequences" including that "other countries in the region will then seek .... nuclear weapons as well," Mullen said. "That spiral headed in that direction is a very bad outcome."
"I worry, on the other hand, about striking Iran," he continued. "I've been very public about that because of the unintended consequences of that."
"The diplomatic, the engagement piece, the sanctions piece, all those things, from my perspective, need to be addressed to possibly have Iran change its mind about where it's headed," Mullen said.

by Niloufar Parsi on Mon Apr 19, 2010 07:02 PM PDTwhat does all that have to do with supporting a war against iran? what goes on in your head to imagine that i don't care about the brutality meted out to our youth? quite frankly: how dare you!
the brutality justifies a war against iran? well it is that kind of mentality that led to a million afghans and iraqis getting killed in return for 3,000 dead in new york. i am sorry i cannot support it. what about you? do you support a war against iran, knowing full well that we are talking about iraq part deux? a million dead, country gone back 40 years, 5 million refugees, one million widows, and they still have no peace after 7 years. only a total fool would wish for a war between iran and the greatest and most brutal military machine on earth. it is all rosy and dandy for those who would not directly suffer the consequences to wish for war on others while sitting at a computer. but it reveals a tiny hint of self-obsession and total disregard for human life. fascist style. fundamentalist style. where do you stand tim?
