Iranfact.org

Provided the fact checking is evenhanded and accurate, the just launched “Iranfact.org” by NIAC lobby is a much-needed endeavor and has to be commended.

However, in light of the recent federal court ruling against NIAC lobby and its lifetime president, Trita Parsi, it seems the fact checking has to begin much closer at home.

There are many well documented legitimate unanswered questions about the lobby and its lifetime president which NIAC lobby refuses to clear up.

Iranian-Americans do need a voice in America, NIAC Lobby could be it, but, it has to come clean about its genesis and murky activities, otherwise, questions and doubts dogging it now will continue doing so, tainting even its worthwile activities like "iranfact.org."

BTW, NIAC Lobby is wrong about at least one of its fact checks. “Iran has never threatened to use nuclear weapons.”

Rafsanjani has explicitly done so in a Friday prayer on Dec. 2001, here.

Where have all the NIACis gone?

by Faramarz on

It’s been a few days since NIAC’s embarrassing defeat in the Court and the NIACis have gone quiet and absent. The vigor and the enthusiasm have evaporated and you can’t find even one NIACi on this site to have some fun with!

OK guys, we the regular Iranian-Americans have a big heart and will let you back into the party!

We are not Oghdeh-ei! We forgave Changuiz Khan, and after the Regime change in Iran, we will also forgive the Russians and the Chinese.

It is all about the future and I am sure that you guys have learned a lesson or two.

The Iranians' Lies Muslims do not want to know

by Demo on

1. 8 years of war with his neighboring muslim country Iraq;

2. Indiscriminate killing of muslims Kurds beginning in Shah's era;

3. Immediate official recognition of 2 US's imposed regimes in Afghanistan & Iraq after they had been invaded & occupied;

4. Total silence about the Chechnians' Muslims massacre by Putin, Inc. for decades;

The above is only a sample of such Iranians' lies the regime in our country does not want muslims to know/remember. The watching of below documentary in full is strongly recommended:

PS: With all the above said the war between Iran & Israel is only myth & will never happen as the two nations are :"Az Sar Va Tah Yek Karbasand!"

As Fesenjoon said below, the 1967 borders is none of your, or IR's business.  It's a dispute between Israelis and the Palestinians.  Let them duke it out.

We are Iranians, not Arabs. The 1967 borders of Israel has NOTHING to do with Iranians!!! The people of Iran dont want your stupid religious war!

the lies Iranian muslims don't want you to know

by Fesenjoon2 on

"Death to Israel" has been the cornerstone of Iran's foreign policy for 35 years now. Khomeini even talked about destroying Israel in his speeches even before the revolution of 1979. (why? because Israel, like America, had excellent relations with the Shah). Talk about who pushed whom to the brink of war!

I am not for endless (and most often useless) exchanges........there's enough evidence for (and against) each side of the argument..........I write for the third reader, the undecided reader, if any.............Israel has to go back to her pre-67 international borders...............that's the root of the problem, the mother of all problems................Laila Khaled was not a hijabed Islamist.....

Stop fabricating facts

by Anonymous Observer on

Israel would have nothing to do with Iran if the IR hadn't made it its mission # 1 to annihilate Israel since day 1 that it came to power, and not just in words, but by funding and arming every anti-Israel group on the planet.  It's still committed to the same policy:

//english.farsnews.com/newstext.php?nn=9102112759

So, stop fabricating facts.  The IR created this situation.  It's their baby.

No one has pushed Iran to the brink of war except the Zionists who have pushed the innocent Jews to the brink of war over their obsession with Iran............you see?...............one size still fits all.............No one, not a single soul, can blame Iran for her reactions to the threats of war.............

And how's that any of your business F.A.?

The apparent obsession with Israel is quite justifiable.......it only reflects our legitimate desire for the disproportionate hegemony of the filthy savage Zionists to be challenged, if not defeated altogether..........that's the only way to rescue the Jewish people, and the rest of the world from total destruction.

Who died and made you and the IR guardians of the Jewish people, or any other people for that matter?  Isn't it enough that you have pushed Iran to the brink of war over your obsession with Israel?  Now you want to see Iran's total annihilation over your messianic and lunatic "cause" of "ridding the world of Zionsists?"

Talk about obsession with Israel

by Anonymous Observer on

Look at the site.  From 11 headlines on its main page, 8 have Israel or Netanyahu in their title.  And I'm sure that the other three have Israel somewhere in their text.  So, shouldn't the site be called israelobsession.org?

Perfect example of three decades of Jew obsessed culture of the Islamic Republic and its "moderately intelligent" operatives in the West.

Clarity is Good!

This is a more reasonable space for NIAC to occupy; NIAC as a political organization with a clear agenda, but not as an Iranian-American advocacy group.

I’ve always believed that the NIAC donors were driven by three things; their views on W. Bush’s war in Iraq, their opposition to AIPAC and their love for Khatami.

But somewhere along the way, Trita and the gang decided that secretly promoting doing business with the Regime complements these views and also somehow these are the primary concerns for the majority of Iranian-Americans, all 1 million of us!

That is how the Judge in Hassan Daaie vs Trita Parsi  case described NIAC as.

I believe the Judge was being quite a bit generous in his descrption of NIAC!

"Personal business must yield to collective interest."
