Tomorrow, April the 16th is a very special day in the United States. It is an official holiday in the District of Columbia. This year it is celebrated a day earlier, today, which has consequently extended the federal income tax filing deadline until Monday the 18th.

On this day in 1862, President Abraham Lincoln signed the “Compensated Emancipation Act” to free certain class of slaves in the District of Columbia. Nine months later he issued his Emancipation Proclamation covering the entire country.

Emancipation day is celebrated on various days in other countries, mostly British colonies in the Caribbean.

Lincoln’s “Emancipation Act”, aside the fabulous Constitution of the United States, has had the most positive effect on the country, paving the way for her to become the beacon of freedom to huddled masses yearning to breathe free.

It has also prepared the needed atmosphere conducive for all to believe in whatever deity they choose and do so without the fear of state. This has in turn allowed the full blossoming of all sorts of religions including the Abrahamic ones.

Lets hope one day, one day very soon, the enslaved Iranians too will be celebrating an Emancipation Day, marking the end of Islamists’ brutal tyranny and birth of democracy.

Lets hope one day soon, shoulder to shoulder with her historical ally Israel, Iran will take her rightful place as the lighthouse of freedom in the sea of tyranny in the middle East.

The lovelies

by Fred on

When a simple wishing of democracy and freedom for Iran and Iranians gets under the skin of the Islamists/anti-Semites and their likeminded lap poodles of lefty allies, it does not leave a lot to the imagination as to the lovelies' agenda.

Imamcipation!

As I have understood in my rather crowded, and busy life, there're two things that can not be forcefully injected: Freedom and friendship; both of which, in my unqualified opinion, should rise within.

The Cybersace Wishing Well!!

by Demo on

As the Akhoonds' regime in Iran is not the only one who has come up with the Emam Zaman's fairy-tale story & its associated Jamkaran wishing well to deceive the masses with, we now have the very deceptive wishing well constructed in the cybespace by the IC's tender hearted blogger. Congratulations, indeed!!

Let's wish yesterday, one day 10 years ago, the enslaved Afghanis & Iraqis were celebrating an Emancipation day, marking the end of sane world's brutal occupations of their lands.

Let's wish one day soon with historical ally US, Israel will recognize Islam as an Abrahamic religion, and let all other countries in Middle East to choose their own lifestyles rather than imposing them tyrannies & fake democracies.

I am dreaming for That DAY

IRAN Emancipation Day with Israel our historical friend Indeed.   Thanks for reminding us of the historical friendship between IRAN & ISrael.  All IRANIANS must know their friends.   IRANIANS' enemy are ARABS & Akhoons with Arab Race & background.  Do not believe me?  Look what they have done to US Iranians & IRAN in Past 32 years.  Shame on the people who do not see this fact.
