in my opinion is fraudulent.  In any normal country in the world heads would role (figure of speech) after this presentation.  But in Islamic Republic of Kashk probably another honorary PhD awaits the president.

بهره میدن امّا.........

من وقتی از ایران خارج میشدم توی یک حساب بانکی ٤١ هزار تومان پول داشتم ولی فرصت بستن حساب نبود.

چند ماه پیش که رفتم ایران رفتم اون حساب رو بستم و ٣٩٥ هزار تومان بهم دادند.

وقتی از ایران خارج میشدم پیکان نو ٤٨ هزار تومان بود.

با اون ٣٩٥ هزار تومان دو تا گوسفند خریدم برای یک مهمونی بزرگ!

Of course you are right.

Do you mean the Godly folks running IRR allow interest be paid on deposits, compounded at that, something they used to ridicule the filthy money-grubbing Capitalist pigs for doing?  

Whatever happened to their interest-free Islamist banking system?

They are both wrong.  20,000 toumans per month based on a 20% annual compounded interest rate comes to about 22,000,000 toumans in 15 years (today's toumans).  The simple multiplication in the video does not consider the compounding effects of the high interest rate of Iranian banks.

Ahmadi is exaggerating (a lot) the number but not by as much as the video says.  Also he is saying nothing of the run away inflation rate that would reduce the buying power of their savings to close to nothing in 15 years.
