From pages of history:

[The year was 1910 and Iran was in chaos after Mohammad Ali Qajar was deposed.]

29th Mehr 1289 (22nd October of 1910)

Today in Shiraz a mob carrying the body of a moslem girl claiming that she was murdered by Jews, rushed the Court House (Adlieh).  After ransacking the building, the mob went on rampage in the Jewish Quarter. The soldiers sent to protect the residents joined the mob attacking the residents and looting their property! A number of the QashQaie tribe in the mob caused the most damage. All the houses were ransacked. 11 Jews were killed and 15 were wounded. 5,000 Jews live in Shiraz and they are all in a desparate situation.

No no no ... Iranians have always been the most tolerant people.

We single handedly created the Human Rights; 2500 years ago, while attacking and annexing the most welcoming foriegners (except for the ungrateful Greek).
