A round up of interesting stuff
#1: SOCCER GAME BOYCOTT EMBARASSES MULLAHS
Only 100 spectators showed up for the Iceland-Iran match held at Tehran’s Azadi Stadium--an unprecedented event in the history of Iranian football when Iranians boycotted the Iran-Iceland match held in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium on Tuesday. See:

2: EVERYONE NEEDS TO WATCH THIS TRAILER FOR THE PBS NEDA DOCUMENTARY
//www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/tehranbure...
The trailer is on left. Apparently the documentary will go well beyond Neda’s murder to ask, “How many were arrested and killed as the security forces attempted to contain the growing protest movement? To what extent was the presidential vote manipulated?,” etc.
I hope PBS explores the futile and shameful efforts to convert Neda into a regime hero. In the face of so much other public brutality, why would the opposition need to do that? Meanwhile Khamenei’s excuse is “Allah made me do it. I had no choice!” He claims to have Allah’s ear and you can’t prove otherwise.
Make copies. Every Iranian over age 12needs to see this.
Item #3: US SEEKS TO SEIZE FOUR MOSQUES, TOWER LINKED TO IRAN’S ALAVI FOUNDATION
All are owned by a Muslim organization suspected of being controlled by the Iranian government.

The LA Times reports tensions between Iran and Paksistan are increasing after the assassination of an Iranian consul. :

#5: IS IRAN INFILTRATING GUERILLAS INTO AFGHANISTAN? (Asia Times)
HERAT - Islam Qala, a small border town that forms the gateway between Iran and Afghanistan, is a focus of concern for Afghan officials fighting the Taliban insurgency because some believe Iran is using it to infiltrate guerrillas intent on destabilizing the Kabul government.
