Satire has always been a great weapon against tyranny, a la Voltaire. Mockery is another area where the opposition enjoys a monopoly, having a monopoly over Iran's best and brightest. Someone on You Tube posted a "preview" of the upcoming revolution to look like a movie preview.
What does the regime have to compare? It's only talent in this area seems to be self-satire, paricularly in many of its propaganda statements.
(Note: I posted this originally in the wrong area (Articles section: News and Opinion) where even I can't find it. Since I know it will be a big hit, I figure I better post in under blogs where folks can see it. I know it would be a big hit here. So I hope the adminstrators won't mind my reposting it as a blog)
