Islamic Republic’s Military Day!

Islamic Republic’s Military Day!
by Faramarz

Every year, at about this time, the Islamic Republic puts on display its military might and every year I scratch my head trying to figure out who these guys are trying to scare!

Starting with the big picture above, these guys look like the contestants in the Gladiator’s Show trying to knock their competitors into the pool!

Then there are the annual Mardi Gras and Rio Carnival costumes; the Chubaka Brigade from Star Wars!

The Jack Cousteau Twins in the Underwater Pete Halabi!

The Gilligan Island Attacking Force on the Three-hour Tour!

I am not sure what this truck does, but it gets 12 miles per gallon in the city, 15 on the highway!

Here is The Lawn Mower Brigade ready to eradicate any foreign weeds!

And finally The Clean Room Commandos!

Scary Stuff!

Thanks for the smile and then the chuckle ... we all need that

This single picture tells volumes about the IRI brain (or the lack of it).

clowns in action

by mahmoudg on

all a desparate attempt to show the world, no sorry to beg the world not to attack them.  They are showing that even the military forces can be a good circus bunch.  In other words a desparate plea to the US and Israel, please dont bomb the heck out of us, see we are clowns and we can be joked with, please please pleaaaaaaaase.

There is a reason for these ridiculous attire worn by soldiers.

by Roozbeh_Gilani on

To ridicule and marginalise  them.

The biggest enemy of dictators is their own citizens Not the foreign enemy. Regular armies are to protect the borders of the country against foreign invasion. The islamist regime learnt it's lesson from Shah's downfall, not to ever rely on it's regular army for fighting the internal popular revolts. The "armed forces" of the islamist regime are Basij and revolutionary guards. These entities  are there to protect the islamist egime from it's biggest enemy, the Iranian people.
