Shariatmadari's Keyhan has published a story that was originally meant to be a joke as a serious piece of news. The story, made up by iTanz, an Iranian version of The Onion, claims Barack Obama's forefathers originally came from Bushehr, Iran and that his grandfather's name was Ali-Asghar Obama. Not only has Keyhan not picked up on the humor there, it has even re-stated from the article that Barack Obama's ancestry was traced by a "Dr. Andy Wasshole of M.I.T.", without figuring out the fact that this was only a funny made-up name by iTanz.

I won't say more. Just that as someone was saying the other day, "khoda akhar o aghebate in mellato bekheyr koneh."
