Open letter to the supreme leader of Iran

I'm an older American woman, and I never paid much attention to your country until this year's election. I was intrigued that the amount of people that were having rallies in the streets and the amount of voter turn out, which was awesome, I've never seen that before. Saddam Hussein said he had 99% but you know he was lying. This was real, and I thought there was actually a chance to have a real Islamic democracy. You know how important that would be? You know what a big step that would be for the Islamic religion? It would be so wonderful to have a democracy, the same as democracies in other countries that have other religions. You know? It would be a step forward in the world politics. Ok, so you screwed up the election. Because of you stubbornness, your stubbornness which is a sin you know, Mr. Ahmadinejad supposedly is the president, you've made yourself the laughing stock of the world. Nobody believes anything that comes out of Iran anymore. HE thinks he is just the greatest thing the god ever gave to the world, and let me tell you something honey, he has dilutions of grander, he is a mess. His brain is worked. Anybody that executes their own children, anybody that executes kids under 18 years old,,,,, I wasn't even accountable for myself until I was 21, that was when I became a Christian, that was when I accepted the savior and that was when I started thinking for my own instead of listening to everything, everybody else told me. Back to your country, because of your threats during the prayer, you created the violence, you are responsible for it. So if Ahmadinejad is right, and the prophet is coming back in two years, honey you're doomed. You're gonna roast in hell forever. You are gonna have all the bad thing that you ordered done to any person, you are going to have to experience them. Yap, and you'll be sorry, and the won't be any way to change it, because you haven't repented. And that's what god want, for people to live in Love, people to treat his creation with honor. Those people that you executed, god created those people, not for you to execute, but to glorify himself. So they could come to this world and do beautiful thing for this world and you've totally destroyed them, and you are responsible. I'm glad Im not you. The rulers of the UN, the rulers of the word, walk out on Ahmadinejad, walk out. Because he acts like an ass, he talks like an ass, he's gotta be an ass. I prey for the Iranian people, I prey that you get overthrown,,,,,no I really don't, I prey that you could see the evil that you have done, and you could repent of it, and you could have a real democracy in your country. A real Islamic democracy, it would be great. But you can't do it the way you've been doing it. Too many people have suffered, and your country will not survive, because you know what? The pangolin swings both ways. Yeah, and you're gonna go right down the history with Christopher Columbus and the Crusades and all the other stupid people that tried to hey-sin, the lord's coming. As you stay on know I prey that you roast in hell, and I pray that god forgives me for thinking that. But I can't, and all honesty think anything else, and what god wants more than anything is honesty and a humble heart, and you have neither.

Interesting points raised: /Columbus (for the curious)

by rosie is roxy is roshan on

she chose religion herself and considers that a hallmark of her journey to adult independent thinking. She appears to belong to some form of Evangelical Christianity but it's not one which advocates conversion or thinks Christianity is better than other religions. She instinctively realizes that although they are not officially declared as such, that countries professing 'secular democracy' such as the US are actually in essence Christian countries, not in the interest of her furthering any Christian agenda, but simply to encourage the Muslim world to strive toward democracy. She doesn't place much focus on the fraud issue. She is older, but she's really hip to the value and uses of the new technology (whether someone convinced her to do this or not, she's hip now...).So many interesting issues pop up...

As regards the reference at the end to Christopher Columbus, it was rather jolting. I googled and found that Colombus was not only very possibly a Jewish 'converso' (which is well-known btw) but due to certain entries in his diaries is thought to have belonged to a Messianic Jewish sect (which is not well-known). So that's what the woman's talking about by juxtaposing the Crusaders and Columbus as examples of cases of trying to usher in the Judgement Day, which is wrong, she says.

Obviously the Crusades were a bit...larger and bloodier..than the man Colombus so her using him is curious, there are so many other historical examples. I'm guessing her particular Evangelical sect puts emphasis on Columbus for some reason unfathomable to me, which I'd hoped to discover through googling, as well as the identity of the sect, but to no avail.

I find it highly unlikely that a not very well-educated (although intelligent and adorable) woman would happen upon that obscure bit of hypothesis about Columbus on her own, then bother to first analyze, then inflate it to grand proportions....

I wonder if this sect has some of those anti-Columbus ideas that came out in 1992 at the five hundredth anniversary of the voyage, i.e. anti-Imperialist. That could explain the rise of the good fellow to the evil heights of the Crusades and Khameni in her mind. Actually I don't believe Columbus and his men killed or enslaved anyone. If my 'wondering' is on the right track, it would underscore what I was trying to say in the first paragraph, which is that she's a very charming hybrid of progressive and conservative, and secular and sacred, ideas. I like that.

She hit the nail on the head ...!

Isn't it brilliant that people all over the world have sat up, taken note and are expressing their thoughts about the situation in Iran , IRI and Ahmadj.  Ahmadj will go down in history .... for many things but popularity will not be one of the reasons for sure.

I love it.

Ostaad,

I am surprised you are a believer!

Unless you meant hell on earth..

Of course you DID mention "him" (her, "It"???) regarding the dust storms, which was my thought exactly when I saw the news on it even before seeing your posting of it.

lol

No need for prayers...

His place in hell is marked and reserved already.

So sweet I want to give her a hug

This is a major acheivement, we have reached the World.

In world view Iran is now like South Africa and Khamenei's Dictatorship is as hated as apartheid making it more more difficult for their Govenrments to do wheeling and dealing against the interest of Human rights.

I'd love to see her chasing Khamenei with an umbrella!

Thank you, David ET. This should be on top of the page.

by rosie is roxy is roshan on

sooo funny...but soooo many really serious and actually rather complex things going on here...but before I say anything more, David, could you do me a small favor and comment on my last blog, however briefly?. It is actually a very serious blog and I would like you to be as honest as possible. The response should be spontaneous, exactly as the avatar has struck you knowing all you know about me, etc. Nothing speculative. I'd appreicate it a lot, it would be very helpful for me at this time.
