Deserves an Oscar ...
by Darius Kadivar on Mon Oct 20, 2008 02:33 AM PDTYour Welcome Nazy Jan,
Indeed it is beautiful, hopeful and sad at the same time just like Real Life. I don't know if it is running in the Oscar Race but it truly deserves a nod. I haven't seen much deserving films in the past year so this one would truly deserve one and a good timing given the changes of American society particularly with the ever greater chances of having a Black President in the White House, a first in the history of this great melting pot nation which is America.
Warm Regards from "Sarkoland",

A great film
by Nazy Kaviani on Mon Oct 20, 2008 01:06 AM PDTA few months ago and on Jahanshah's recommendation, I went to see this movie. It was a very sweet and moving film. The characters were fully developed and each of them became important components of a story which couldn't be fully appreciated were it not for the audience's understanding and accepting all of them. It was great to watch, even through the sad ending (and even that sadness was relative, wasn't it?). Thanks for you as usual thoughtful recommendations, Darius.
