A Priest overjoyed with the Royal occasion took his chance to do a Cartwheel down the famous Westminster Abbey aisle. The man of god, wearing a black gown anddog collar, clearly thought no-one was watching as he broke into the spontaneous act of acrobatics.

The unnamedverger — who had taken part in the historic marriage ceremony of Prince Williamto Kate Middleton — was casually walking down the famous red carpet after the service.

Clearly notrealising the TV cameras were still rolling he looked behind him before smiling to himself and spinning out two cartwheels.

But the moment was captured by a Sky News team — and the priest is now setto become an internet sensation.

A spokesperson for the venue laughed it off. "Our view is that theverger was simply reflecting what we all feel about a very successful service. It is a general reflection of the mood of the Abbey and a job well done,"said the spokesperson, who explained that vergers are "people who assistand prepare for the clergy in their services."
