Charles Aznavour & Georges Garvarentz sign Music Film Score of French Russian WWII Spy Film Tegeran '43 aka Tehran '43 a Love Story set against a historical background that of an assassination plot by the Nazi's against the Big Three at the Tehran Conference of 1943. The film was the first Russian Co Production with an international Cast including Alain Delon and Curd Jurgens as well as Soviet Stars of the Pre-Perestroika years. Initially the film co produced with the French was to be partly shot in Iran but due to the Islamic Revolution production finally moved to Samarkand at the time capital of the Soviet Republic province of Uzbekistan where major sets of WWII era Tehran were faithfully recreated.
