This Show was my Favorite on Iranian TV before the Revolution. Here is the Lunch Box I had. ;0) These series were so MODERN and ahead of their time. I loved the Delorian Car and the Red Alert Sequence. I used to play with my friends at school on the Monkey Bars. Yadesh Khalee ... Opening sequence of the 1970s British science fiction TV show created by Gerry Anderson.

that is a cool one but I did not see it in IRan. I do remember Rocket Robin Hood though:

Can you remember this?

I wonder how many of you can remember the early Flash Gordon series that were introduced in Iran of early 1960's when the Saabet Pasal TV was launched. Here is a sample episode:

Don't talk about Dr Who please,I used to watch it with my parents, but one night, home alone,I watched it by myself & I was so frightened that I left the TV on & went to our neighbors!!.They show a Dr Who on BBC America, but nothing like the 70's original.

Found it,lovely site you recommended.it is called " Sunflower" in English too.

Thank you all for your nice comments. You don't need to diet bajenaghe you look swell ;0)

Ebi I will look for the name. One good source to find your film and photos and info is imdb.com:

But here is the famous Striptease of Sophia in one of their films together.

really funny. I liked De Sica too.

Samavar.thats really cool I had no idea. I don't remember seeing Dr. Who in Shiraz but had heard of the series and I used to read a british magazine we bought in a book shop on Zand Avenue in Shiraz. It was called LOOK & LEARN and they mentioned DR.WHO and other series in their advertisements.

I LOVE the 70's TV shows they were so creative in those days. Now kids have Paris Hilton Reality shows as Role Models. Its So sad that the kids today don't have the fun we had ...

I loved

Wow,Wow,I'm speechless.Where did you find this?the problem for me is that when I search for a lot of films & series,I know them by the Translated name I saw in Iran as a kid,so difficult to find what I'm looking for.I didn't think anybody else loved this show,so much different at its time.

I saw a film in Cinema Paramount in Iran when I was kid,the Farsi Title was : Gole Aaftaabgardaan,in which Sophia Loren & marchello Masteriani played. As I remmeber they are newly married,he goes to Russian front(WWII),he is injured there, rescued by a Russian woman,no memeory, maaries her & ....

please can you help me with its English title?!.

Thanks again for your great finds. You said you liked the corny British Sci-Fi's. The most lasting of these silly British Sci-Fi's is, yes you are right: Dr Who! This was aired in Iran before the IRI days and its latest reincarnation featured a half-Iranian half Ghanaian girl, named Fareema Agyeman (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freema_Agyeman) who played Martha Jones, Dr Who's assitant (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martha_Jones). Here is the opening to the latest series.
