Gunsmoke was a popular TV show we got to see on NIRT ( National, Iranian Radio and Television, which aired in English too). I had the Lunch BOx as a kid in Shiraz. More to come on my Favorite Lunch Boxes. Maybe you had one too.

I remember him, back then I always wondered how (in my eyes as a kid),somebody as ugly as Jason king, could be so popular with the ladies?

I guess " dead or alive" title was translated? " Jaayeze Begir".

Saint was my favorite too, since Roger Moor in my eyes was the real polished, goodlooking guy,who the ladies should fall for,not Jason king.

Good old childish reasoning!

DK Both Saint and Wanted Dead or Alive were also shown in Iran, I remember watching them in my Grandma's house on her RCA black & white counsel. I loved Jason King, I had a big poster of him in my room, recently I rented the first season from Netflix. It was not as funny as I remembered, most of the laughter came from Dubbing. Bahram

I loved both shows but I don't recall seeing these two in Iran :the Saint and Wanted Dead or Alive. Maybe because I lived in Shiraz and we did not have all the programs like some of you Tehranis ;0)

But I particularly LOVE Roger Moore in Everything he did and does. I think he was one of the coolest Stars of his time. The Saint was really fun and I liked him in the Persuaders ( Kavoshgaran).

Also do you remember Jason King ?

As a Kid I did not make a difference between the British and American films or shows so I thought they were all American until I grew up ;0) Now my favorite shows of the time are really mostly the British ones like Space 1999 or UFO especially for all the corny costumes ;0)

How about this one?
