State Dinner honors Qajar King Nasseredin Shah during Official visit to London. The King was the First Persian Monarch to ever make an official visit outside Persian Territory into the European Continent. The Tour was to also ensure diplomatic ties with Europe in the face of the mounting influence and threats from the neighbouring Ottoman Empire.
