One of the Emblematic films of the Swinging Sixties for its groudbreaking cinematography and editing, the Thomas Crown Affair also is famous for its Theme Song: The Windmills of Your Mind by French composer Michel LeGrand.

It starred the (then) sexy Faye Dunnaway and King of Cool Steve Mcqueen in their famous kissing scene after an erotic chess game ...

Yes it was an official endorsement for the remake.

I have a crush on Rene Russo even more than Dunnaway.

I also like Dusty Springfield's version of the song

Windmills of your Mind in the newer versison. There were several changes, probably the biggest was the ending where Brosnan and Russo get back together.    And did you remember that Faye Dunnaway was his shrink in the remake????  I love it when they bring an original actor into the remake.

Thank you for reminding me of the remake which was very good too. I don't remember if they used to original music score since this is what in my mind I keep associating to the original version.
