Keep up the good work

Dear Kadivar
Do you have the list of all the TV series form 1970’s that was shown in Iranian TV? . All of this series were translated to Farsi
I have seen those that you have posted here, I can also remember, CANON, SHAFT, Black Cat, etc But I do not have a complete list
If someone has the old news papers form that era (IE. KEYHAN) there were daily program listing of TV shows.

It would also be nice to have a listing of all the foreign movies that were translated and shown in the theater back in the 70’s.

You are doing a fantastic job of preserving the culture of 70’s in Iran.
Best wishes, khoda ghovat

She's my mother's favorite

by skatermom (not verified) on

She's my mother's favorite Iranian singer too. My mom to this day sings Delkash while she's washing dishes, vacuuming etc... My mother has a terrible voice. I mean terrible. I would say: "mom how can you butcher such beautiful songs?" Mom's response: "I'm not butchering, I'm paying homage to the most talented of Iranian women. Thanks for the post DK.

Another delkash song that I love:

by Azarin Sadegh on

It's "Bordi Az yaadam":

Every night my husband plays setar, so boys would fall asleep, then sometimes we go over a book of old iranian songs and we sing together, like a lulluby ...Delkash, Banan and Ghavami are great hits with boys...and they're full of Nostalgia!

I guess when our boys grow up, they will remember their Mom and Dad singing Delkash... like tasting, remembering a little piece of a land they have never seen, and still they would feel it to be their own.

I love Delkash songs...

Thank you so much for posting a song from Delkash, or as my Mom has always called her: Khanoom-e Delkash!

As long as I can remember, my Mom listened to her and we all did the same. It's funny how - for me- her songs represent the "home" that I don't have anymore!

And no wonder my favorite Delkash song is "Yaad-e koodaki"!
