One of the most prolific directors in American TV history, is Reza S.Badiyi. A Native of Arak in Iran, he started in Hollywood along with his friend and mentor the late Robert Altman (M.A.S.H., Short Cuts). Here is a Life in Pictures on bebin TV.

Darius jan, thanks for writing about this great Iranian-American.  Many of us grew up watching shows directed by him such as "Six Million Dollar Man".  Every time I read a list of his works, I am amazed of how many TV shows Reza Badiyi has been involved with.  No wonder that in your blog, you call him:"One of the most prolific directors in American TV history".
