Golshifteh Farahani Guest on French Prime Time News & Satrapi at Abu Dhabi Film Festival

Iranian Actress Golshifteh Farahani was the guest of Laurant Delahousse on Sunday’s Prime Time News to speak about the difficulties of working in Iran, her hopesof Freedom and democracy for Iran and the region as well as the role of Islam and women in the “Arab Spring” and her upcoming projects after her latest performance in Marjan Satrapi’s “Chicken With Plums”. Satrapi’s first film Persepolis triggered controversy in Tunisia where Islamists clashed with policeafter the animation aired on TV. (See Related News)


Farahaniis the second Iranian actress to be invited by French Anchor Laurant Delahousse after the equally beautiful Leila Hatami whose role in Asghar Farhadi’s “Separation” was a box office hit this summer.

Is it me or she is going darker each time we see her... poor soul........it must be the IRI effect or something...........remember the king was so bright, and sparkling, almost as bleached as the other king, Michele Jackson?........ and so was our happy nation on a Western style "shining path" of some sort?.............
