What happened to you Mammad? Soraya Ulrich? Why so silent all of a sudden? You don’t like people’s reaching their boiling point? It is against your concept of peaceful transition from your beloved rule of Islam to a secular democracy? Why don’t you publish another article promoting the rights of these thugs to Nuclear bombs?

You know the end is near. That’s why you are silent. Instead you send your malijak, “Mehdi” on this site to discourage resistance out of fear of losing lives to stop the inevitable.

Call me naïve, but, I believe we have passed the point of no-return. Even if they (the thugs) succeed in silencing this crowd, it will only become the fire under the ash. There is no stopping this movement.

I assure you that any period of calm means opposition is getting organized to deliver the fatal blow.

Some uneducated posters on this site have credited the success of the 1979 riot to willing participation of the oil industry workers. These fools don’t know what they are talking about. Mammad, you and I both know that the act of terrorism succeeded in shutting down the oil industry. I know that for a fact, because I was an eye-witness. I, along many of my co-workers joined the strike out of fear of our lives. Yes, it is true that many opportunist leftists encouraged support of the riot. They were stupid enough to assume it would be easier to get rid of a bunch of Akhoonds than the mighty Shah.

To suggest that people stroked (specifically the oil workers) in free will, is an absolute fabrication.

The whole point of my blog is that for the movement to succeed the opposition needs to first and foremost get organized and then resort to any means to stop the functioning of this blood sucking government. Educate and encourage more and more people to join the cause. Fortunately the thugs are helping this aspect thru their murderous actions. Once the support starts mushrooming, the days of tyranny will be numbered.

Please don’t stop giving them moral support if you can’t physically help them. Give them enough credit for being mature and educated enough to take their own calculated risks.

My heart and mind is with them every minute of the day and feel sad for not knowing how to effectively contribute to their cause.

May they all live long and succeed.

Was on the road today

by Bijan A M on

I thought my post was deleted. It was burried so deep in the blog list.  Any ways, sorry to be late to attend and thanks for your comments.

Anon fish: It's good to see you too. You have been somewhat quiet lately. These are extremely critical times in our history that could potentially change the lives of many generations to come. I am both excited and a little apprehensive about the possible outcome. My prayer has been for emergence of a leader or leaders with the ability to organize and harness the vast energy in the air to better and more effectively conduct the revolution. I agree, they don't necessarily have to be the same people who would lead the nation post revolution.

Fred and Samsam-e Aziz: I just blogged this because I sincerely was curious about their where abouts. Mammad is a respectable nationalist and devout muslim (nothing wrong with that). However, I could hardley ever agree with his prjuidices and flawed belief that there is a peaceful transition from IRI to a secular democracy. I was just curious to know his take about the current revolution. The lady (Soraya) is a totally different story. She needs to learn a thing or two from huge crowd of revolutionary wemon who are the spirit of this movement.

Bavafa: Translation please....

Hypocrite: from the tone of your post, you sound like a Basiji or the son of one. More than likely the rally that you ran into Soraya was a pro-IRI (Khamenei) demonstration. If not, you must have feared the wrath of freedom fighters and decided to join the crowd.

Why don't you put your money where your mouth is and post links to your queen Soraya's articles in the credible site.

I agree with much of what you're saying.  I especially hope you're right about the opposition becoming organized.  That has been a major focal point in my talking to my husband... WHO is going to lead your people to freedom?  And not necessarily the long-term leader of Iran, but simply the leader of the revolution.  Not necessarily the same thing.  To see the courage they have... it's just amazing.  I only hope and pray that it becomes organized in peaceful terms.  My God... what they have already achieved and what they CAN achieve!

POWER TO THE PEOPLE.  POWER TO THE PEOPLE, RIGHT ON.

New town

by Fred on

Whenever exposed, the oldest and easiest rout the hucksters take is to move their operation to a new town.

The Islamist cutthroats' little helpers in the free world still have not fully digested the full impact and consequences of their regime openly butchering peaceful demonstrators.

I ran into Soraya at the rally in Orange County and I know they're both very busy writing for other websites where they don't have to hear such nonsense coming from the forsat-talab crowd that has highjacked this website since Monday.

If you'd like to read their articles, go to huffingtonpost, tehranbureau, antiwar.org, and many other credible websites where they write for... and oh yeah shut your pie hole.
