Mirali Hosseini, now a broadcaster with RFE/RL's Radio Farda, was a television commentator for Iranian broadcasting before the revolution of 1979. When the shah's regime fell, Hosseini was chosen to break the news to the Iranian people on television.

I remember Him Well ;0)

by Darius Kadivar on

I think he has alot of regrets and it shows. The Poor Fellow was just doing his job.

I remember that at some point during his speach the TV screen went off and the Shah's photo appeared with the Imperial Anthem started playing. The Imperial Guards had tried to take over the TV Station without success.

I still remember his frightened face. He then tried to calm the viewers by saying things had come under control but he was certainly very nervous because of his boasting speach on the victory of the Revolution.

I am glad to see him alive and doing well. Like many millions of others he too ended up dissillusioned by this Hoax of a Revolution.

Your Forgiven My Friend. Today All Democrats should Unite and put an end to this 30 years Hoax that is eating our countrymen and who we are.
