Life Across The Sun

Life Across The Sun

Well, I am supposedly a writer/novelist, but lately I've been going through a long never-ending writer's block and this is too scary. I knew I had to write no matter what even if it is not as good as I expected.

But life is unpredictable. It takes you to places, it starves you without killing you. It takes different shapes and sings different songs behind your back. It is your friend, at the same time your worst enemy.

My only defense against myself is "writing". This blog is my attempt to stay alive as a writer. But being full of self-doubts shouldn't entitle me to have any kind of pity.

It's all about writing, or mostly absence of writing.

After reading so many lovely comments

by Azarin Sadegh on

After reading so many lovely comments from you guys I feel more motivated (yet trembling inside) to keep on, to move forward, to skip looking at this dark abyss ahead, around me and under my next step.

I wrote this blog to force myself to write since lately my hectic personal life has ambushed my drive and passion for writing. But please stop being so nice! I need someone to slap me so I can wake up to finish the damn novel!!

I truly appreciate every kind word you have written here. Thank you!

Having a writer's block is like going completely blank when you are trying to deliver a speech to a large crowd. I have been there and I know the feeling.

As they say, just imagine your audience in their underwear, smile and it will all come back to you!

Just think of the big smile that you will put on somebody's face with your story.

Creativity is not an at will attribute.  We know one thing for sure, you have creativity and it will surface it’s head again.  Don’t think about writing, just think!
