Ironically it's Pakistan not Iran

Nuclear material is ripe for the picking. More than 15 years after the end of the Cold War, nuclear stockpiles remain unguarded and unsecured.

.
I am all for non violent regime change. I don't like saying this, but the passing away of Benazhir Bhutto, has frightened the Israelis. She was going to try to establish relations with Israel. Now that makes the nuclear threat more from Pakistan.
.
I and a lot of others have been saying this about Pakistan for such a long time. They supplied the stuff to the Seyyeds. All you need are some Sunni extremists to gain politically, and more importantly the Israelis to fret more and more over Pakistan's threat, then Iran will be out of the picture. Now if the PPP can establish itself again, then the Seyyeds will be enemy number one again. If not then expect a US attack on Pakistan to safeguard the nukes, and the Republicans to stay.
.
The Seyyeds and the Sunni extremists have their own "good" reasons for using nukes righteously. They believe they have to sort the world out don't they. Right now Iran is a proxy for all the major terrorist groups. The Chinese supply the cash without any concern. The US companies in the Chinese industrial zones, love it with slave labour and almost free rent and energy. We have seen the US clamp down on some of the Chinese arms suppliers.
.
But I hope that the focus does move to Pakistan and away from Iran. That way the Seyyeds cannot look so important to all of Iran. And that is the only reason they are ruling. It is all based on false fear. The people of Iran do not need nukes to get the world's ear. We have our own non Seyyed culture and morality, which will confront any form of violence internally and externally non violently. Less talk about a strike at Iran, and more talk about the power of non violent general strike please.

Pakistani Nuclear Weapons

by Waqar Haider (not verified) on

By taking 10billion dollars from USA, Pakistani Military Unpopular Rulers have sold my motherland to Actual Terrorists USA and Criminal Europian Union. May God save my country and The Islamic Republic of Iran. Americans and Israelites are very coward people. Every country has right to defend oneself. Pak Nuclear Weapons are safe.I fear that USA or Israel might use nuclear weapons against Iran or in Middle East in coming 50 years.

Iranian Ajax, that explains

by alimostofi on

Iranian Ajax, that explains the huge armada of aircraft carriers outside the Persian Gulf, in the Arabian Sea, running daily sortes over Pakistan. They have contingency plans.
.
But as I said the escalation will take place from the scare mongering from the Israelis. The Israelis will need to use the US ships to do whatever, if they really got worked up. But that will make neocons happy and force a huge debate in the US elections. Once the US people have given their view about Pakistan, then Iran will be less in the news. Hopefully then Israelis new toy will mean they will leave us alone.
.
The political rhetoric will shift in the media. Just look at this week's cover of The Economist. Now that the root of the problem has been exposed, we are I believe, in the final chapter of this dreadful episode.

It needed to come to this, so that the people of Pakistan look beyond Islam for spiritual awareness, and identity. Maybe they will need to create another nation in the NWF. But Waziristan needs to be brought to forefront.

WOW!

by Iranian Ajax (not verified) on

I have been saying this about Pakistan for a long time. My detractors then have said, "Oh don't worry, you are only imagining a worst case scenario!" I hate to say it, but, um...I told you so.

My worst case scenario for Pakistan materialized.

What scares the chelo kabab out of me is the following:

According to Scott Sagan in his book THE SPREAD OF NUCLEAR WEAPONS: A DEBATE RENEWED,

Pakistan is clearly the most serious concern in the short run. Pakistani weapons lack the advanced Permissive Actions Link (PALS) locks that make it difficult for a terrorist or other unauthorized individual to use a stolen nuclear weapon. In
June 2001, Pakistani officials also acknowledged that there were no specialized Pakistani teams trained on how to seize or dismantle a nuclear weapon if one was stolen. No dedicated personnel reliability program (PRP) was in place to ensure the psychological stability and reliability of the officers
and guards of Pakistan’s nuclear forces. Instead, Pakistani soldiers and scientists with nuclear responsibilities were reviewed and approved for duty if they were not suspected of being Indian agents by the Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) agency.

So yeah guys, enjoy it while it lasts.

Don't hope bad things on any nation

Just the same that the world is unjustly accusing and punishing Iran, we must wise up to not allow the world do their bullying on our neighbors. It's in our best interest.
