How US destroyed Iran. ... But

Watch "The Iranian Americans" on YouTube

I just watched this very short clip on what happened to Iranians after 1979.

You will see the most famous Iranian of all who works for NASA. There are others.

What do they say? They left Iran as if their lives was in danger - they literally packed a tooth brush and flew.

Not one looked back. They became assimilated. Property prices in Beverley Hills rocketed.  We sent rockets to Mars working for Americans.

But US had better plans. It made sure that a better foe than USSR, was going to be there to keep its military industry in business. Islamic threat was publicized. Mullahs brainwashed Iranians.

So the Persian carpet was being woven into US and Islamic weaves. Iranians had to eat Cranberry sauce and face Mecca. The culture of Iran was being torn apart.

The poor of Iran felt helpless and escaped into prayer, the wealthy had escaped to LA. But both have found now, that Iranian culture is a stronger thread and it is not threatened.

But

But history has taught us, that migrants will develop amazing resources, once their original homeland returns to normal. Look at what has happened to East Asian people, who escaped to US and then returned home. Iran's home coming is approaching.

Once Iranian-Americans return to Iran, they will become American-Iranians. They will bring their deep American contacts to Iran, and build Iran. Iran will develop immensely. It might not seem now. It might seem a very far fetched idea. But one day in the future, it will all make sense. We had to go through this, to bring Iran back to being the glorious Persia it once was.

F: there are those who

by alimostofi on

F: there are those who follow Zoroaster and then there are those who follow ancient Iranian thoughts. Zoroaster that you speak of is a recent phenomenon, on the 20000 years time scale.

We have had many Zoroasters. There have been many Sayaoshants. The words in the Gatha are but of the last one.

Zoroastrians are in two camps. Dualists and monotheists. Those who are monotheists had a belief. Dualists had reason and curiosity.

According to Mazdean texts and post-Avestan commentaries of the mobad, the age of the present world cycle is a lot older than 20,000 years. You also mentioned other gods. Asho Zarathushtra condemned the worship or even acknowledgement of other gods besides the Only God Mazda Ahura. The list of 101 names of Ahuramazda have Avestan counterparts within the liturgy, although their current pronunciations are from late Sassanian Pahlavi, nevertheless they are part of the liturgical practice of all contemporary Zarathushtrians, Parsi or Iranian, and are not deemed to be later constructions. They are deemed authentic invocations of the Prophet himself.

F: As we know the oral

by alimostofi on

F: As we know the oral tradition is very old. It is from the first galactic alignment some 20000 years ago. Many of the words in that list, are new constructions, that white washed the real meanings. There were many thousand more "Gods".

Let me explain. As an Astrologer I look at all the various energies as special and unique. Much of what has been "constructed", actually destroyed the essential original meanings, which were cosmological. There are literally thousands of special moments in the space-time cosmology.

But each of these special moments, is a "God", from a religious perspective. As such religious system fails. Religious historians, who wanted to simplify ancient Iranian cosmology, made huge mistakes. They reduced all the nuances, to very simple bland terms.

Simply put, it looks all the same, if you wear a pair of religious spectacles.

Yazdan is a late Pahlavi construction (when used as a singular) and it is a plural referring to Ahuramazda and the six Amesha Spentai together. The correct Avestan singular is Yazat or Yazad which in late Pahlavi and modern Persian becomes Izad.

We have a lot in common.

by alimostofi on

Arash: I think we have discussed this before. In life you do not need to be dependant on anything but yourself. Ultimately we in the diaspora are suffering, because we are not looking for a new solution. There is room for the diaspora to build as the regime is still around. The universe can accommodate both. One day they will be amongst us, as a minority.

Who would have thought that one day after ten years a new phone pops out of nowhere and puts Nokia out of business. Apple did not wait for Nokia to die first, did it?

As I have always said, we have to build our own cultural unity, peacefully without harm to anyone else. The unity is there based on one simple fact. Fact is, we all love Iran. No one can deny our common cultural thread.

Politics divides us. Religion divides us. Money divides us. Only culture unites us. It is that simple and so many people know it but just don't shout it.

Well I am shouting it. Stop taking it for granted, sitting in your sofa in USA and saying it is a free world and I can't be bothered. You are Iranian. You love Iranian culture. We all love Iran. We all get along. Let's move the cultural wave in Iran.

The events of 1979 are now back firing heavily in IR's face and eventually will finish it off. It isolated Iran in such a way that noone now wants to do anything  with iran. It will die out and with its death the peace and quiet that people of Iran once had will return to Iran.

There are slightly different versions of the list

by Frashogar on

//www.avesta.org/ka/101names.htm

The transliterated list shows Ahuramazda as the 87th name. Asha is an adjective in Avestan and not a noun so cannot act as a name of God but as an attribute. These names were all compiled by the priests during the Sassanian period and their pronunciations are variations from a Pahlavi Avestan.

by alimostofi on

T: our culture has not learnt to create a business culture that is systematic and trustworthy. Most of our people, get MBA's, come back to Iran one Summer, and return to USA forever. There is no equivalent to Best Practices as in an SAP system in Iran.

The funny part is that, right now the mullahs are doing business with Chinese, who do everything themselves. They do not use non Chinese people. So the mullahs do the politics, and the Chinese run the factories that make the stuff for Wal-Mart and Apple.

The US gets Iranian energy via China to make Barbie dolls and iPhones.

A king who can see the future (on a day by day basis) and who else better than Mr Ali Mostofi?

ps - How come a Zoroastersian king knows not the title of his God, Frashogar?

I understand that some societies can be good to their citizens while exploiting other regions of the world. In my opinion we need to sort our own family out before shouting across the fence. Look at what aspect of our culture and thinking hold us back, even when we live abroad.

amirparvizforsecularmonarchy

There is a difference between blame and real harm

by amirparvizforsecularmonarchy on

1979 and USA, UK, French involvement are not at all about blame, they are about the countries that caused 1979, while using documented deceit to encourage the people of Iran to allow it to happen.  I just posted on what Iranians can do to make Irans fortune to change more honestly and more truthfully.

Here it is,

The answer is to defend the character of those that

brought you and supported peace, human rights, freedom and progress. To
Value and Appreciate what they spent their lives creating and then to
create of your own actions, not by attempting to destroy using lies.
Its when some iranians lie about the patriots of the past using
non-iranian words like dictator, corrupt, excessive repression, savak
tortures, megalomaniac etc, those Iranians who just support this with
out critical thought are just acting on the cue of those who were and
are the enemies of these qualities for Iran and today meet their aims by
loving extremism for Iran.

Obama with no discusion, on a whim, with out any consultation, just
ordered the unlawful destruction of a foreign army, the murder of its
head which the US State Department said had to go, yes the humanitarian
charity project for Libya.  I pity Iran because of our so-called
pro-democracy thinkers and supporters, who sit among each other with a
straight face more similar to a Neanderthals than any dumb mullah and
call the late shah a dictator.

What you are each discovering, with your own peanuts, after 33 years,
each year that passes by, only serves to Prove what the Shahs team knew
about Iranians and their readiness to manage their own democracy without
being dominated by anti-Iranian Interests and the need for a
Single-Party Rastakhiz to move towards multi-party elected government.

Mentality and rationality

by Truthseeker9 on

Iranians need Symbols to worship and need to be more rational in their thinking. Most will not let go of old ideas and attachmens. That is the reason the west exploits/exploited countries like Iran etc is because of absolute power was concentrated around one figure.

Perhaps Iran can learn from other successful societies insead of playing the all too familiar Balme Game which gets it nowhere.

Scruples

by alimostofi on

H: We all have a little bourgoise in us, but some have no scruples.

There those who resurrected old religion above Iranian culture, and got quite an audience at first. Iran has digested them.

Then there are those who put modern religion called democracy and human rights above Iranian culture. We know those ambitious politicians too. Most are still memerizing their blind believers.

US was built on those who put profit first. And they have no scruples at all. They have done business with nasty theocrats and politicians, squandered their money, and ran. USA said to them, "forget Iran, just make money". That is the worst enemy of Iran. It is the all familiar money and brain drain.

Not one of those interviewed would talk about a road map to save Iran.

These innocent people are just led astray and have no control over their own choices. Bad things keep happening to them, and their own mentality plays no part.

Well I can tell you

by mahmoudghaffari on

this character Goli Yazdi-Ameri and her family, like many others were the cause of this revolution.  They lived in utmost comfort with all the trappings of the world at their disposal.  Her father a notorious busineman was among the first to flee the country only to come back decades later and be involved with bribing the highest echelons of the Iranian regime to take his ill gotten property back.  Iranians like Ameri, of whom their numbers are abundant, at least in America, make me sick.  They looted that country and fled, only to start life again in the same manner their forefathers did.  We dont need people like her and her kin.  If we want Iran of the future to be better than what it is or what it was we have to indetify leeches like her and truly understand them for who they are.
