"Rock Around the Clock" is a 12-bar-blues-based song written by Max C. Freedman and James E. Myers (the latter under the pseudonym "Jimmy De Knight") in 1952. The best-known and most successful rendition was recorded by Bill Haley and His Comets in 1954. It was a No1 single in both the US and UK charts and also re-entered the UK Charts in the 1960's and 1970's.

اول یخورده صبر کردم به این امید تا شاید شخص دیگری پاسخ بدهد.

در موسیقی جدی...یا همان کلاسیک رسم بر آنست که شماره اثر...و همچنین گام آن ذکر میشود

 
در موسیقی پاپ و نظایر آن...نوازنده آزاد است که در هر گامی که میخواهد و در هر ریتمی که مایل است...بنوازد...ساز ها هم ترتیب خاصی  ندارند

اگر دقت کرده باشید...در موسیقی ایرانی نیز معمول است...که گام ایرانی مربوطه را ذکر میکنند...سه گاه...چهار  گاه...ماهور...و غیره

در حالیکه در موسیقی پاپ ایرانی...مثلا خوانده های خانم گوگوش ذکر گام موسیقی معمول نیست.

از نظر شخص من...فقط دو نوع موسیقی وجود دارد...موسیقی خوب...و بد

هیچ ربطی هم به جدی بودن یا پاپ بودنش ندارد

Of bars...

I am so happy that I googled the 12-bar-blues, otherwise I would have commented "your beautiful performance deserves to be played in all bars around the globe".......

Now this is my serious question, which applies mostly to the classical music: Why do I need to know if the piece is in A major, or C minor? If I enjoy listening to it, then it's all major and all my problems are nothing but minor........

Next time, we'll talk more about Max and James and how they kept the lucky folks who didn't have to go to war in Korea, dancing..........
