Un Grand Irano-Québécois!

by Quebeqi on

I just came back to the latest of his conferences on the Concept of "Crime Against Humanity" and the Current Situation in Iran. It was held this afternoon at Université du Québec à Montréal UQAM in which other well-known Iranians of Montreal attended. I can tell that Pr. Akhavan's speech was quite strong, inspiring, passionated and, that he is one the best persons to defend the cause of human rights in Iran and elsewhere in the world. I feel so fortunated that Pr. Akhavan has chosen to live and teach here among us. The only thing that I feel sorry for is that most of my French-speaking hamvatan "de souche" know so little of his works.

Dear Professor, You should be invited to Radio-Canada's "Tout le Monde en Parle" talk show. For sure, every Québécois will love you or, at least, a few millions of them :)

Thanks for having posted this video. It is great.

I'm following this case and am very hopeful of its success.

As Mr. Akhavan said rightfully: Justice is not only a political slogan, but an ideal which needs a long term battle!

Great speech, great man.
