Un dimanche à Paris

Photo essay: Snow never stays a long time in Paris

by Orang Gholikhani

Each Sunday, I go to buy our baguette for breakfast before jogging. Last Sunday I found Paris under snow and instead, I went hunting for pictures, including at the art installation by Abbas Kiarostami at Eiffel Tower park. I hope you can hear the silence, and see the people rediscover the streets. Snow never stays a long time in Paris.

Thank you for sharing the serenity of the Wonderful city. I also enjoyed your Budapest shots. I'll visit those streets, that gallery and restaurant when I'm there.

Your nature shots had a touch of a poet. I could see the poetry in your pictures. thanks for sharing.

Snow is nature's best silencer and acoustical barrier.

Orang jaan these are nice pictures but we hear so much about massive snow in Europe yet your pics are mostly dusting of snow!  It is beautiful though.

I could hear the silence but imagine what a foot of snow can do to quiet things down!  total silence, except for your footsteps!

Everything is sacred
