Beauty inside and out

Photo essay: Getty Museum, Los Angeles

Going to the Getty Museum has become a ritual every time I visit Los Angeles. The architecture is just as spectacular as the art. The main exhibit featured amazingly realistic marble sculptures by Gian Lorenzo Bernini (Italian, 1598–1680) and his contemporaries in Rome. Unfortunately no photography was allowed there. But there were lots more to enjoy inside and out.

I am most impressed with the view and the garden...  I look at all the pieces of art with admiration and awe, but still prefer to leave the galleries and enjoy the greenery.

Oh my! You went to Getty and you didn't tell me...:(

I love Getty and it is one of the rare places in LA that I visit regularly (besides Disney Hall, Dorothy Chandler pavillion, Hollywood Bowl, and the Vons close to my house!).
