One of the key demands of the IAEA and P5+1 to close Iran’s nuclear file is for the Regime to come clean on its nuclear weapons activities, and specifically explain why it has an explosive containment chamber at Parchin and what it has done with it.

In the past two weeks there have been satellite pictures of some “moving and cleaning” activities at Parchin which implies that the Regime is up to something. At this point and in my opinion, the Regime has two options.

It either owns up to its nuclear weapons activities, but blame it on some “rogue elements” within Sepah and then put them on a mock trial as it did for Kahrizak torture and murder cases and the billions of dollars of bank fraud case where people are put on trial but nobody knows who they are and what if anything is going to happen to them. And Khamenei who has declared nuclear bombs un-Islamic can save face.

The second option which I believe the Regime is pursuing is to play cat-and-mouse and keep moving the equipment and scrub the facilities prior to the inspectors’ arrival. But given the satellite and drones’ activities over Iran, it is highly unlikely that the Regime will succeed in this game.

Therefore the sanctions will continue and will become harsher and the Regime will try to sell the oil at deeply-discounted price, which I believe Israelis businessmen will buy on the open seas!
